I burned 80 dollars myself and it felt sooooooo good I can't tell you. But there's a rationale behind it (proof of burn). Do read the topic on bitcointalk.

Post by: sumantso on February 03, 2014, 12:45:19 pm: I burned too, when it was some 1.2k/BTC. Took me almost a week to figure it out and set it up. I used some of the BTC I had kept aside for AGS to do that.

At that time it didn't look like it would give a huge short term return. I was attracted to the fair distribution system as opposed to mastercoin and NXT.
