Hi I've been waiting for my Bitcoin purchase to go through on Coinbase so I can get more AGS. I just wanted to ask if it was to late now to do so?
-
If you just bought, you may be out of luck, that is unless you enabled instantbuy on coinbase.

For Bitshares snapshot?
So when is the deadline the end of the 28th?

Now that there is no timer, does anybody know what time zone and what time on the 28th this event will take place.
PS jae208, make sure not to donate straight from coinbase, donate from a wallet where you control the key. Also make sure to send it with a transaction fee to make sure it doesn't get "hung up"

All times are in GMT, Greenwich Mean Time. You can check the current GMT by googling "GMT". If your PTS ownership, or your AGS donations are reflected in the PTS blockchain or the BTC blockchain as of the last block mined on or before 23:59:59 GMT on February 28th, it will be counted. If it is in the next block, it will not be counted.
At the time of this post, there are slightly under 20 hours remaining before the snapshot.

Thank you so much for the clarification

Must these be fully confirmed? The hashrate of the network seems to have dropped significantly recently, so average block times are like 10 minutes, and I don't know if my payment will make it in time - will likely only have one or two confirms.
-
Basically, what happens to the coins currently in limbo, being sent between wallets. Do they get any Bitshares X assigned to them? I made the foolish decision to change wallets 40 minutes ago, and they still only have one confirm :(

Once confirmation is good enough. There is no such thing as 'coins in limbo', they are either in one block or another block. Thus either you get them or the previous owner.

Thanks for clarifying - apologies for the loose terminology, I was referring to coins that are deemed "unconfirmed" by the wallet client.

oh no I had a donation get a confirmation like 1 minute before 3-01, but it was included on 3-01 block. Oh well let the chips fall where they may 8)
