Hollllly crap, next month in New York?  You guys really like conferences. But it doesn't matter, if you can make BTS XT on line this month.

We are scaling down our conference presence and have turned down more than we have gone to.   So far every conference has paid for itself many times over in new contacts.

New York is critical becasue it's the financial capital of the country as well as the home of many major news agencies. We plan to leverage our time there to get major media coverage (the same NY Times writer said she'd cover us there). Also, Daniel can remain an expert in the industry by speaking regularly at events. We've been invited to at least 6 other events (including Toronto in April) that we had to turn down due to getting too many requests for Dan to speak, and to make sure he's got plenty of time to keep building and innovating.

Missing Toronto in April is a shame. That is Ethereum home turf, and it would be good to have someone there to counter any misconceptions about Bitshares before they can spread.

Is it possible to give out free copies of the client on a CD or DVD at the event as a gift to everyone? It's one way to get everyone to install it.

Additionally for marketing would it be possible to go the AOL route and send a CD to people's homes and/or have it included in magazines?

Please pass my ideas to Brian. If the money exists let's do it.
