Looks great!

Some edits:

The FAQ's part of the website mentions that holders of PTS/AGS get 1.33.  Not true. AGS got 3.X.

What happened on February 28, 2014?
This was the snapshot date for BitShares XT. PTS and AGS holders on this date will be given a stake in BitShares XT: for each PTS or AGS held, the holder will be awarded 1.33 XTS.

Obviously we are past March 15

When will BitShares XT launch?
At the earliest, BitShares XT will launch on the Ides of March (March 15, 2014).

How much did it post to obtain this domain bitshares.org?  I remember way back bytemaster said the previous owners were requesting the tune of 2,000 pts for this site.  Or was that bitshares.com?

That was my favorite assignment before BitShares!

My favorite final exam question?  Sketch the ground track of Apollo 8 from launch to "Trans Lunar Injection" departing earth for the moon:

Just to add a few comments:

(1) each website iteration has made substantial improvements, its going in the right direction!

(2) ? add a more visible link to a wiki from the site. The FAQs are good, but naturally provide brief answers. You could sticky the wikis on this forum - ideally one for each DAC. Currently, googling 'bitshares wiki' brings up a MSC wiki link at the top, and the listed wiki provides a one line answer with a link to back to a MSC site. I don't know if a wiki is the best format but the forum is great for those following the ongoing conversation - for those just arriving: not so much, as searching for information in threads takes some time.

(3) more videos needed about upcoming DACs in the video section of the site please

From reddit. I think for us here it is very clear and nice but here are a view for a reddit guy. I think he has a few good points there :
"The website makes absolutely no sense to me. I haven't a clue what Bitshares is.
According to the video, it gets rid of desks, rent, utilities, salaries and equipment and pays all of the money saved to shareholders. And it allows you to transfer shares for free but only for digital companies which exist entirely in software (which don't yet exist).
The best explanation of what bitshares is is hidden on the FAQ page:
BitShares is a free open source software platform that can be used to launch Distributed Autonomous Companies (DAC).
Ok, so where is this open source platform? Or is BitShares a company, it seems to be employing people.
So your website claims BitShares is an open source platform, things you can trade like shares, a digital autonomous company and also a regular company? I'm confused.
Overall opinion: lots of words that mean very little and claim to make lots of money. Is it a scam: no, they aren't asking for my money. Is it an advertisment: no, it's open source. I have literally no idea what the point of this website is other than a design exercise for The Creative momentum"

Great stuff!  8)

I really like the main page of the website and think the video is great too!  +5%  :)

Edit:So many contacts have been asking me what I like in this space and I've been saying BitsharesX, but to try explain the concept and the potential of other DAC's briefly has been challenging. I can now point them to the website, I actually think this will spread pretty quickly.

I think the solutions sub-section could have more jazzy one-liners to get people excited and make sure they click on the explore link. BitsharesX should probably just say 'World's first decentralized bank and exchange' as opposed to
'BitSharesX represents the first Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) to use the BitShares platform.'

Is there a video coming for BitsharesX specifically soon? I think that would be good.

I cannot find the fact that bitshares is based on an 'open source' protocol on the main page ..

should it be added to the list of
- Secure
- Low Cost
- Convenient
- Decentralized

-> Open!

Unfortunately all variants are used on the new website. It would probably be best to choose a standardized version, while still trademarking, registering, domain squatting or whatever needs to be done, all of them.

BitShares is brand (when not part of the logo)
bitShares is logo... (only when used in the logo)
bitshares refers to individual shares.

I agree it is confusing.

I think it makes most sense to stick with the branding "bitShares" which matches the logo. You don't see anyone anywhere write IPhone or EBay. Although in this texting/blogging/facebook generation people tend to write things in all lowercase when having casual conversation. To this extent many companies are rebranding to use only lowercase. Check out the newest logos of macy's, jcpenny, and sears. There are also plenty of companies that have been all lowercase for a while: amazon, intel, adidas.

I found a random blog post that mentions this trend directly: http://www.duetsblog.com/2011/04/articles/branding/lower-case-branding-visual-identity/ (http://www.duetsblog.com/2011/04/articles/branding/lower-case-branding-visual-identity/)

So ultimately "BitShares" is unnecessary if the logo branding is "bitShares", and "bitshares" should be fine for casual conversation but not in any formal paper or on the main website. When you refer to individual shares I would think you should just say "shares".

I think it is important that the white papers are prominently displayed on the website. It seems to me that a lot of people interested in bitshares primarily do not understand the concept and it takes too much searching for them to understand how it is achievable from a technical standpoint. In terms of marketing to the bitcoin community, it needs to be made evident why tapos is better than pow, in the same way that the website clearly explains why bitshares conceptually is better than bitcoin or traditional banks. I really think that major part of the problem with bitshares marketing is that people still think the concept is either a scam or delusional. It is just as important to market the lower level concepts as it is to market the higher level ones. There is good content on the website, but none of the content really explains how bitshares DAC's work.

3i Team...the new website is really sharp and provides a great foundation upon which to build.

I've been monitoring your activities over the past six months and am amazed how far your team has come.  I am impressed with all you are accomplishing and also somewhat amused by some of the negative forum members...or better stated, some of the negative and "cranky" posts.  So I thought I'd take a minute tonight to congratulate the Bitshares Team for your incredible early successes.

Continued success and a sincere "thank you" for all that you are doing for those of us who have invested in your vision.  And for those on the forum that think this is easy and like to hurl mud from time-to-time let me just "massage" a classic line from JFK and say..."ask not what Bitshares can do for you, but rather, what you can do for Bitshares" (to assist in these guys in leading this revolution in technology).

We have no official wiki. Dan wants to put everything on bitshares.org, I'm putting stuff for dns in my auto github wiki.

So maybe one of these?
https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares.org/wiki
https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares_toolkit/wiki

When if/everything is consolidated into an official wiki, someone should make sure any useful information from here is also transferred: http://wiki.invictus.io/en/Main_Page

Github + bitshares.org are the only two websites I want information on.   I am all for using the github wiki.

I think everything should be copied off (careful not to miss anything) of http://invictus-innovations.com/ and http://invictus.io/ and organized into bitshares.org + GitHub wiki(s). Then those sites should be replaced with automatic redirects to bitshares.org.
