Title: What am I doing...
Post by: raslfrasl on July 09, 2014, 12:14:40 am
Hi, I've got a new System setup with Bitshares-PTS and Bitshares-Toolkit, What firewall ports do I need open? 8801-8803? to and from?
Otherwise, I'm new, in Austin and have reliable systems.
Thanks!

DAC... I don't think it means what you think it means

I couldn't understand his question either. Perhaps OP could try rephrasing his question.

Inconceivable! you're exactly right. So I setup a new bitshares_toolbox wallet? I'm raslfrasl and the user is bs02
I was hoping to get some interest?

Here's our test network thread:

I'm still not clear what your question is but you can ask for funds / instructions in that thread

To clarify incase there is a misunderstanding.   Bitshares_toolkit is for the test network of btsx which has not been released.

If you want to buy Protoshares to keep or donate, then you need to get the Protoshares wallet.  http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/Getting_Shares  Is a good place to start.  Click on the Protoshares link there and you should find a link to the wallet.

If you want to do the testnet then you should read the Banking and Exchange subforum.

Right, I wanted to be part of building the network. so I have equipment in a datacenter and wanted to put it to work. if anything comes of it, great! otherwise, it's just sitting there doing nothing.
