Title: Can someone please walk me through market fees with an example ?
Post by: gamey on July 09, 2014, 07:48:44 am

So I am trying to understand how Bitshares X charges market fees.  Can someone give a short example with a few participants interacting ?  Everything I've found so far has to do with a previous version of Bitshares X.  I've read the first several pages of threads that look promising and nothing in there explains by concrete example.

Anyone ?  Hmm maybe that thread where BM gave a bounty for Bitshares X exploits ..

ahh tyvm.   I remember that thread.  It also references some other threads.  It will be a good place to start.

If nothing else I'll take a crack at my own example and then someone will be motivated into correcting me. ;)

http://v3.bitshares.org/banking/    Go to the Market Maker section.

I am having our web team migrate that content to the new site / wiki

It's been an older version of the official page. No need to polish it.
IMHO it's used as an archive .. nothing more .. no idea if 3I will keep it up longer
