Title: LOOKING TO HELP? Request new exchanges add BTSX
Post by: MktDirector on August 11, 2014, 05:50:06 pm
I'd like to get BTSX listed on several more exchanges.   Currently we're on BTER and BTC38, Poloniex and Coinport.   I think Cryptsy and BTC-e would be musts. Anyone have suggestions for others we should look into? Which exchanges would you suggest are very important to be on and why?

Please, send emails to your favorite exchanges and request they add BTSX and if you have direct contacts at any exchange, PM me and we'll start talking with them to get us added.

I think coinport (https://coinport.com/), an exchange in HongKong also support exchange of BTSX.

And they announce to have 100% proof of reserves, but I'm not sure whether it is based on the balance address, because TITAN will create a new address for each account the funds they receive, which could mean a lot of address need to publish.

Although not an exchange BitcoinWisdom.com would be a win. Not sure if that'd be on us or an exchange to push for though.

Kraken and BTC-e but it seems they're very selective, it will be a rough task. I'd say an american one and an european one!

btc-e would be great, but hasn't added anyone for ages and yet they seem to keep 3 completely dead coins trading. I find that very weird. It's worth a try though. I would be interested in hearing what their response is, even if they say no.

Cryptsy is the other one that I think most people will have an account with. As for the others, the more the better.

Poloniex emailed me a couple of days ago asking questions about BitShares X implementation.. Bytemaster is talking them through it so hopefully it won't be long. The cool thing about Poloniex is they have stop limit :)

BTC-e would be major. Cryptsy has USD. Mintpal is high volume, cool and efficient. I think we could aim for one of the major exchanges as well, that so far have only accepted Litecoin and Ripple.

The rush now is like it was with Litecoin before it was accepted by the btcchina etc. Litecoin was living on the promise of being accepted by a major exchange like Mt. Gox for like 6 months before it happened. ;)

Yeah I think BTC-e would be a huge score for Bitshares because traders are very active and will increase volume significantly!

I guess it's easier to persuade all the exchanges that already have NXT on them, considering the similarity of BTSX and NXT.

If you look at the 24Hr Exchange Volumes, that provides a good guide on where you should focus efforts first...
http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ (http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/)

In addition to those you've mentioned - Bittrex (https://bittrex.com (https://bittrex.com)) is now the clear leading alt-coin (non-fiat) exchange of choice.

Bittrex is the main exchange today (was Minptal) used by the english speaking alt speculators and will attract a lot of twitter type buzz if it's listed there.

I've helped get a couple of alts listed on Bittrex in the past and can assist if necessary.

One way we can help ourselves to ensure quick adoption - is if you can secure a technical contact that can assist the exchange technical teams to integrate BitSharesX into their platforms. It's not a trivial exercise, compared to your traditional alt-coin. I'd look to see if whoever helped BTC38 and BTER can help.

I nominate anxpro.com

They have a bitcoin debit card that allows you to do purchase or cash withdrawl globally as normal debit cards. If they can implement a debit card with bitUSD, it makes a lot of sense to use bitUSD as cash.

The introduction to their debit card is here http://debitcard.anxintl.com/

Scrypt's only real value was that it could only  be mined on consumer hardware. Once Scrypt ASICS came out all the gpu miners couldn't compete at a profit because the diff went through the roof.

Have a look at the price of scrypt asic boxes now. They can't give those things away.

Kraken, BTC-E, Bitstamp are of course game changing!

Ok, so we now have 4 new exchanges we're in active talks with in addition to the 4 we're on.  I'd like to get us on 10-12 with at least two being some of the largest ones, in average volume.  PM me if you want to help with a specific one, its time to get as many platforms ready as possible so when we make our big move upwards, those piling in will have plenty of options and those already on a particular exchange will be able to just move into BTSX without signing up somewhere new.  B

I'd also like to see BTSX on Justcoin  ... https://justcoin.com.

It's an exchange based in Norway that's clear and easy to use and one that I trust.

Justcoin supports trading in XRP and STR and as there's a possible future Bitshares/Stellar/Ripple association in the offing it might make sense for Justcoin to take BTSX under it's wing.

I think the power of BTC38 should down to 20%.

Or it would be another mt.gox wait to happen.

In order to do that, BTC-E、OKCOIN should be part of it.

the marketing team need to do more than just sending some emails to exchanges for the mercy to be enlisted.

Hop on a plane,fly to OKCOIN\BTC-e, convince them .

To be honest, you guys should act like a kick ass company with the most advance technology at your disposal.....
But today,I think the manipulation in BTC38 is kicking your ass back . I don't even believe they have enough BTSX to control the market to begin with.

I totaly agree, BTC38 is controlling the market and price.

You need to do more Brian
