Is there a publicly accessible API from which market data for BitAssets can be pulled?

There is an RPC interface within the wallet that you can poll and run any command within the wallet with

It would be a good start to have a wallet that would download without crashing.  That's why I asked about a public API.

Hug? current 0.4.4 should not crash when syncing ...

currently there is no public API that I know of.

It crashes during sync on lower spec machines, at least from my very small sample set of 1 low spec machine and three or four "current" spec machines.

I'm not on a low end machine.  The problem arises with the latest version of the client download file.  There are many reports of the same on this forum.  No matter.  I'll wait for a fix.
