Title: Can't install 4.12 on windows 64 bit
Post by: mas on September 05, 2014, 12:28:40 am: Uninstalled 0.4.9 and tried to install 4.12 on 64 bit windows 7 but got this error message
"This version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running.............."

I downloaded it from http://bitshares-x.info/ download.

Tried installing 64 bit version from https://github.com/dacsunlimited/bitsharesx/releases/tag/0.4.12 and after installing I try to run it and then another error comes up
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)...."

This is a known issue. I haven't seen any resolution yet. The 32-Bit version seems to work fine.

The 32 bit version should work on 64 bit machine, but may be slower than 64 bit client.

Install is working on a win7/64 bit machine - but no connections >:(

i'm on 8.1 64bit, too. I can't use after install. It's just crashed.

Before running BitSharesX 64-bit, please install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 (12.0) Redistributable Package 64-bit" which you can download from (vcredist_x64.exe):

This problem will be fixed in next version.

Install - fixed

Reindexing database 0% Connecting to network = > crash

Some more work - sry guys...
These binaries seems to be a tough job !
