Title: 0.4.12 crash and crash
Post by: hansonwcn on September 06, 2014, 06:08:20 am
0.4.12
1.  win8.1 64bit install finished, crash when “loading”
2.  win7  32bit, crash after double click the install file, it says not enough memory.

Everything runs right when I use 0.4.11 and before that.

Probably you have corrupted install files, let's check md5 of your files downloaded from https://github.com/dacsunlimited/bitsharesx/releases:
BitSharesX-0.4.12.exe 5e2f447ce41eda0b45eea05b81202a60
BitSharesX-0.4.12-x64.exe 32834048720d6bb918589d439a820ded

Can we get md5 or SHA checksum for all releases in the future? I'm guessing the downloadable file from bitshares-x.info is compiled differently? Doesn't match the release on github's hash? only trying 32bit.
thanks

It seems the GitHub builds were recompiled to fix some of the crashes but bitshares-x.info links were not updated. We are discussing with DSL the best way to keep all links always up to date and consistent. The reason that there are multiple hosts is that GitHub links seem to be very slow in China.
