Title: How to import electrum wallet
Post by: smiley35 on September 08, 2014, 10:20:44 pm
Hey everyone. I was wondering how to import my electrum wallet into the btsx client. I exported my priv keys and pointed the client at that but it didn't work. Not sure exactly where my wallet.dat is for electrum.

I pointed the BTSX Client to the default .dat file in the electrum folder under the windows roaming profile.

This worked fine, but took a few minutes to recognise in my balance.

As long as you are using windows :)

I had some difficulties importing MultiBit too.  I simply imported the individual private keys and it was good-to-go but I understand that others may feel uncomfortable doing this so you may want to use the console.
