Title: "September" Newsletter (call for content)
Post by: Stan on September 26, 2014, 07:46:57 pm
Ok, here's your big chance to communicate to our non-forum-addicted newsletter subscribers:

I could also use some summaries on topics like:

I'd like to get this out sometime before, say, September 35th.

Post your inputs in this thread.

Thanks

Edit: Or was that October 35th? Just kidding.

lol

My thoughts:
- market maker bot
- price feeds and the job of the delegates
- market rules (maybe to much)
- multi language support for bitshares-x.info (translators wanted!?)
- Genesis stake statistics: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=9283.0;all
- the development of BITSHARESBLOCKS.com (svk did a fucking awesome job here!!!!!)
- huge success with a reddit AskMeAnything: http://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/2ftfti/bitshares_x_ama_trade_btc_derivatives_on_the/

Ok, here's my crude rough draft Newsletter (hours before my September 35th deadline).

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Rmp4NraeAySHVFckZkUlpFSEU/view?usp=sharing (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Rmp4NraeAySHVFckZkUlpFSEU/view?usp=sharing)

No attempt has been made to format it because Cass will work his magic on it on Monday.  All in-line google-doc comments are welcome before then.

WARNING:  Don't read it if you expect perfection.  This posting is to get forum insider help achieving that.  It is not ready for public consumption so if you are a member of the public don't consume it!   :)

Let me know what else I should have linked or mentioned (or not).

Thanks

Great read, lots of exciting things happening indeed.

I noticed bitUSD prepaid debit cards were not mentioned along with any off-ramps. Are these goals go to require a little more work or time?

They involve negotiations with third parties and the scope of the integration effort depends on many things still to be determined.

Sounds good.

I view that a low fee bitUSD debit card as a bit of a holy grail as a off-ramp because of familiarity with consumers and it fills the need for a bitUSD to fiat but I am sure this isn't anything you guys haven't realized your selves. Best of luck on achieving this.

I never received the  September newsletter, other then the draft you posted.

Was it ever sent out? Did anyone else get the September newsletter?

When should we expect newsletters? Bitshares.org says my account is on the listed but more  then one user in this thread has said they are not receiving them, is it possible to look into this?
