Aligatocoin is building an auction sale platform with pay via eye technology (I haven't seen this technology anywhere else). Does anyone think Aligatocoin going to be able to compete with the ecommerce giants Amazon and Ebay?

Has anyone heard of photochain yet? I do some photography on the side, so it caught my attention. They're creating a secure P2P market place to trade photography with your copyrighted work on the blockchain. Anyone looked into it yet or know any better photograhy DApps out there?

I'm bullish on Waves for a few reasons:

1. It's the only decentralized exchange that has fiat gateways.

2. Their smart contracts are working right now on the testnet, and they'll have Turing-complete smart contracts on the mainnet by the end of the year.

3. Its consensus algorithm, LPoS, does more than 100tps right now, and this number can be expanded greatly (it's actually the only crypto-project using LPoS; it has shown that it can stay decentralized).

4. Transaction costs are very low and this won't change, because the fee is fixed. Right now they cost around $0.0045 per transaction, therefore with $1 you can do 222 transactions.

5. The token creation is done via their main client, which is actually by far the most user friendly and featured wallet out there. Just try it and you'll probably end up agreeing with me.

6. They have extremely active software development: https://github.com/wavesplatform/ - 36 repositories, half of which have had code added in the past week.

Do your own research as always, as this is just my opinion.

Random Discussion / What's your opinion on the City of Eden
« on: April 23, 2018, 05:30:49 am »
Has anyone heard of the City of Eden project? Being a techie who loves science, this project really caught my attention as this team of engineers has literally formed its own utopia (hence the name) and is working together on solving real world problems using blockchain, med/bio tech, aerospace and other solutions that are open sourced and available to token holders.

Random Discussion / Is gold backed crypto worth investing in?
« on: April 10, 2018, 03:25:56 am »
With the current condition the market is in, I think most people run to safer investments like precious metals. Currently looking at Pecunio, a cryptocurrency backed by gold which seems pretty solid to me. Gives it greater stability and trust to invest in it. They were also recently invited to Nasdaq for an interview, so I think this gives it a bit more credibility. Has anyone taken a look at it or invested in any gold backed crypto? What are your thoughts on the concept of gold backed crypto? On the verge of investing but want further insight.

Random Discussion / Has anyone tried out the RewardMob app?

Have any of my fellow gamers here heard of Rewardmob? They advertise prizes for playing and winning mobile games.

Random Discussion / Thoughts on the Pitch Investors Live app?
« on: March 25, 2018, 05:57:37 am »
Has anyone downloaded the Pitch Investors Live app from the iOS app store? Seems like a much more convenient method of selling tokens than anything else I've seen, since you get to pitch investors directly through their app.

Random Discussion / Any thoughts on Waves?
« on: March 21, 2018, 04:53:59 am »
Seems like Waves is gaining more attention recently. I’m a coder, so I naturally look at developer activity first and so far it is one of the top platforms in this aspect (https://github.com/wavesplatform, https://github.com/PyWaves) which is pretty impressive. Their 2018 roadmap is also looking great and it is overall faster and easier to launch a token on than Ethereum: https://hackernoon.com/waves-waves-your-blockchain-token-in-one-minute-9733dfef98c8. I think Waves is already a big competitor to Ethereum and will be even more so when their turing complete smart contracts are done (end of 2018). It am currently loading up on Waves as I believe it will do at least a 10x this year.

Random Discussion / Anyone tried out TrueReply already?
« on: March 13, 2018, 03:26:40 pm »
Opinions on this? TrueReply - voice based surveys, on Alexa powered devices, paid in crypto. They also have other use cases like voice based surveys for healthcare and market research companies. But what really caught my attention was incentivizing people to take voice based surveys for crypto on devices they most likely already own. Their ICO is already running I believe. I don't have an Alexa device, so wanted to know if anyone has already tried it out yet?

Random Discussion / Anyone owning any robot parts?
« on: February 06, 2018, 08:16:55 pm »
I just found out about https://etherbots.io/, a game built on the Ethereum network for building and battling robots, they even have a “legendary gold” tier which can get you a gold lambo if you get lucky with your buy (500% increased chance of getting it during the presale). This game sounds way cooler than cryptokitties and seems like it has a very good outlook on profit (20% price increase upon launch). I think I might buy a crate now, I'm FOMOing especially after I missed out on cryptokitties! Any opinions on this?

Pinkdate is taking an interesting approach I've never seen before.

The returns come from their quarterly payouts to token holders equal to 50% of their net profits. So instead of just buying a bunch of useless tokens and hoping people also want to buy them so the price goes up, you buy their tokens and you basically share in the profits of the company indefinitely.

PinkDate is the first anonymously-operated, world-wide escorting service that combines screening, booking, and payment in a single platform. Some might frown upon escorting, but personally, I subscribe by the morality trumps legality line of thinking. Furthermore, I'm sure I don't have to explain that there is demand for an ultra private escort platform. Especially after the whole AshleyMadison debacle.

Could you imagine if a big company was paying out 50% of their profits to their share holders every 3 months automatically for as long as they're in business? Share prices would sky-rocket.

Random Discussion / What do you think about Upfiring?
« on: October 14, 2017, 10:56:56 pm »
This is their website: https://www.upfiring.com
They are currently in the process of building the Desktop app which should be released in Q4 of this year. Their project is pretty unique - it's similar to SoulSeekQT and uTorrent, but uses the blockchain and Upfire tokens (UFR) to compensate seeders when their files are downloaded. As far as I know, it's a unique concept that isn't being done by any other projects in the crypto space.

Opinions?

This spreadsheet has taken months to put together. It currently has a complete analysis of 61 upcoming ICO's, and 40 past ICO's that we can use as a gauge for future performance. It ranks coins by over 30 different categories to give you a complete analysis score of the project.

TLDR: Use cryptocurrency to buy Reddit upvotes and other digital marketing services

You can buy Reddit upvotes from upvotes.club and multiple other services for off-site search engine optimization, product launch, targeted traffic, Voat, Hacker News (the Y-Combinator one), Quora, GrowthHackers, Snapzu, TopTopic, and so on. They can help increase your PeopleRank on Quora (the importance of your account in a topic determines how high your answers will be positioned). They also provide downvotes, comments and posts (and not just on Reddit). Great company and ultimately knowledgeable and relatable guys providing a fast 24/7 service with their real personal accounts. Since this sector of marketing where they operate is usually inundated with nonsense and pretend services, they're quite a breath of fresh air. Actually... what sector of digital marketing is NOT inundated with such things? Entrepreneurs should know what I'm talking about; most marketing companies - especially the ones for SEO - will try to convince you that results come in time. And you'll be left waiting. Hopefully no-one was disturbed by this message and maybe it will even help a few businessmen, startup owners and content creators (blog posts, articles, videos, music, game fan content, etc.) from around here. As a small review: I bought the managed traffic service from them a while back and they were able to provide for my website around 47k clicks in one month (it looked quite good in Universal Analytics), which is crazy. It wasn't anything lame either; the visitors came from social media posts (Reddit and around 20 other websites), and subscription lists. I didn't specifically buy Reddit upvotes from them (the thing they're most known for), but I have friends that did and they've been beyond satisfied. They're also writing informative articles touching on real marketing challenges. Here's an example related to the many Fiverr scams that reside in their "Digital Marketing" category. I myself have bought from Fiverr almost 10 times until now and the sellers from there - when it comes to marketing - are experts in making you believe that they've actually done something. The results don't come, not a day later and not a month later. Don't trust Fiverr and don't trust them. Thanks for reading!

Disclaimer: I'm getting a free service from them for posting this. I'm not affiliated with them, but I truly consider their services 10/10.
