I compiled the bitshares client a few days ago, and now I see that there is a *new* version. I tried opening my bitshares client and it is not syncing and it constantly crashes saying to reset the database.

I have the "wallet" folder and the private key, so how do I upgrade to the new client on the linux terminal? What command lines?

Why is the check for new update not working? I have an old version and it is not recognizing the update.

Did anyone get BTER to withdraw BTS yet? Do they still have it disabled?

Will I be able to withdraw my PLAY shares from BTER today to my BTS account?

When you click on the "my accounts" tab in the client, the accounts take up to 5-10 seconds to display. Could this be fixed for the next version?
It scared me the first time I started to use Bitshares when I rebooted my computer and the accounts were not showing up. I have a high quality computer and I am running linux so I am sure that other users have to wait longer on their PC's.

So I was playing around with the BTS client and I found that the client forces you to keep 0.00001 BTS in your account.
Why does it not allow you to transfer this out? Is it impossible to make an account have a 0 BTS balance? In future versions will you be able to do this?

I heard whispers on the forums that there may be a new client upgrade coming in December. Is there an estimated release date for the next update?
