Node name: MavenFrog
Server Hardware: i7 3770, 32GB ram, 240GB SSD + 4x1TB HDD + hardware RAID
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
UPS.
Backup power generator planned.
Internet via 2 different ISP(s).
Dedicated Domain(s): <DACNAME>.mavenfrog.com
Ability to quickly allocate more hardware and/or increase the bandwidth if needed.

I've been software developer for many years - http://lnkd.in/nPbhxG
I believe I have the ability to maintain a delegate node (And I'm not alone in this. Details will follow.).

Initially 100% of the earnings will be used to ensure maximum performance, reliability and fault tolerance of the node(s).
All earnings/spendings records will be publicly available.
The users will be able to vote and discuss on how to spend the earnings.

General Discussion / Re: Lost 1000 PTS

I had similar experience listed in these threads:

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2315.0
I've exchanged 3 PMs with the offender(s).
Pattern seems identical. Could be the same person(s).

General Discussion / Re: BitShares X Status Update
« on: February 13, 2014, 12:01:34 pm »
Today I made progress on paying mining rewards and including extra transactions from your own wallet when there is insufficient CDD from 3rd party transactions.
I have a few small bugs to work out before I can completely check this item off of my list.

Tomorrow I will be focused on getting the BitShares XT white paper out for everyone.   My goal is feature complete by Monday... actual milage may vary.

I will then produce some console captures for people that want to see what the command line experience is.

What happens if 2 miners with significant amounts of cash (and CDD) find blocks ?
How do you determine how much "extra transactions from your own wallet" a miner should include to a block?
What if the other miner outbids you? Do you try again including more "extra transactions from your own wallet"?

BitShares PTS / Re: fast AMD OpenCL PTS miner released

I confirm significant cpm improvements in the range of 15%-30% for HD 7950 (depending on overclocking settings)
I get about 2450 cpm with HD 7950 (clocked at 1100 1400) on 2.2. I was getting 1850 on ver 2.0.

Nice work!

They just tweeted this:

Due to the massive ongoing DDoS attacks motivated by the addition of MaxCoin we decided to drop support for the coin.

Obviously they want to support maxcoin so they can profit. But they are unprepared to handle the additional users. So the service fails. And it fails for all other coins.

BitShares PTS / Re: arCUDAminer 64 bit v1.0e - PTS GPU miner for Windows
« on: January 29, 2014, 01:08:39 pm »
GTX 780 + i7 3770K
arCUDAminer_highperf - 1.0e performance ~ 1750                 1.0c performance ~ 1700
arCUDAminer_cm35_highperf - 1.0e performance ~1350        1.0c performance ~1650

There are some performance fluctuations and my methods of getting results are not very reliable (running the executable for about 2 minutes and looking at the last few cpm reports). However the difference in performance of CM35_highperf is clearly noticable.

1.0d has degraded performance compared to 1.0c on GTX780.
1.0c had around 1700 cpm, 1.0d has around 1300 cpm.
Tried both on GTX 780 + i7 3770K and on GTX 570 + GTX780 + AMD A6 5400.
In both cases performance degradation seems identical.
arCUDAminer_cm35_highperf.exe doesnt run on GTX 570 + GTX780 + AMD A6 5400.

PS: missing cudart64_55.dll in the archive for 1.0d

Software: yam-yvg1900-M7i-win64-ivy-bridge

Yes, I get that. I've expressed my thoughts in https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2309.0 .

Anyone who handles money should be careful enough not to deliver it to scammers.
