Will there be a bounty for a invictus.io pull request for these tutorials converted to invictus.io look and feel?

182
I think I'm done

Where is the AGS for BTC donations?

183
I'm still not 100% sure about the genesis block, but I think I might know what you want ^_^

A different problem arose tho:
When multiple addresses donate to AGS together, how am I supposed to fairly and accurately calculate which address donated how much? The obvious answer would be to give every address AGS relative to the amount that address spent, but then we get rounding errors.
I've looked at agsexplorer to find out how it's done there and saw that they just remove fees and other outputs in the transactions from the highest staking input address and ignore the resulting unfairness.
Example: http://www1.agsexplorer.com/balances/1GwqVEwMiwEwifRaLnRB14CJQ4rjqaJmvR
200mBTC where spent, the 17.82203 mBTC of fees and change where simply subtracted from 1EmFGWtWgAF8ZjDHHMZPqRZvSboLjWEY2r's angel shares.

Assuming that all inputs belong to the same person, the unfairness wouldn't matter, but if there was any scenario where two people could donate in the same TX (multisig?), one of them would get less AGS.

Is this how it's supposed to be handled or should a different approach be taken? If so, which?

EDIT:
Even worse, agsexplorer seems to do this rather indeterministicly:
http://www1.agsexplorer.com/balances/1KHXpgQLeLgMTZmP5JVss5XX55UUTFunPP
https://blockchain.info/de/tx/d2b64a6d2e3860bfc6f37774bad6e7c4bfbc1ea63716de4bc146188f8e63e61e

In that transaction, address 1Q4isu8WRDn8Withk4GhM4vbeKNdRcq7TH leaves empty handed. To get comparable results, we need a clearly defined way to distribute the AGS.

I remember bytemaster said somewhere in this forum "The first address in the tx gets all the AGS" first meaning the first in the blockchain data.

BitShares AGS / Re: AGS Investing Strategies seem to be shifting...
« on: February 13, 2014, 01:33:56 pm »
I don't know why people haven't switched strategies to donate BTC.

My guess is that people who are aware of AGS are mostly the people who have PTS. More aggresive marketing on BTC community/BTC holders is needed. That is just my opinion.

I did not even understand what  the problem is with that transaction?

Can you explain what you think the bug is?

I see the pull request is merged. Does it mean I got the bounty?  :)

The link should be on the right hand side of the ags page.

I have created the link:

And the initial pull request:

https://github.com/super3/invictus.io/pull/82

Tell me if any changes are needed.

188
Are you implying you have more than one PTS wallet? Or are you talking about multiple addresses that belong to the same wallet?

If you are talking about single wallet, then just don't bother merging to single address. You will be able to claim all your BTS with your wallet file.

If multiple wallet files are is the case, that beats me. I did not see a official announcement about that.

Check the images below please. This is the tutorial page on my local machine:

Tell me what you think before I create a pull request.

And a question: Where the link to this page should be?

invictus.io/blockchain-info-ags-howto.php

OK, I will create a pull request with that page name tonight. However, what I was trying to say is that there should be a clickable link in another page in the invictus.io site so that people can actually go to this tutorial page. OR, are you planning to promote this page only via forum?

190
That is also one of addresses in your wallet. Don't worry, you will get your BTS.

Go to the tabs at the top of your qt-wallet.
Click help->Debug Window
Go to Console
Type "listaddressgroupings" and hit enter.

They are your hidden addresses

General Discussion / Re: bitshare X launch day
« on: February 06, 2014, 10:04:40 pm »
Actually 28 Feb. is not a launch date.

The last blocks on PTS and BTC on 28 Feb will define the genesis block for BitShares XT.

I will provide an extra 30 PTS to convert these instructions into a webpage / pull request for invictus.io that looks clean and professional.

So you only need the "sending BTC from blockchain wallet" part on the web page?

I would like the PDF instructions that have already been generated converted into a page on invictus.io that matches our theme and looks profesional.   Should have complete instructions on everything one must do to send money from blockchain.info wallet and get BTS on launch.

I will work on this when I go home.

BitShares AGS / Re: agsexplorer.com is out of sync again... FYI

It appears all sources are out of date right now... grr..   and I thought having multiple redundant sites with independent implementations would have give us some kind of reliability and robustness.

Sites are redundant, data source is not, I guess.
