Will the withdrawal limit be increased any time soon?

722
Yay! Competition! :)

723
I think it might be better when it's a bit more stable

724
Without a memo sent almost instantly. May be the upgrade on their side fixed things.

I got the infamous: "cancelled:BTSX account is not registered or memo is too long"

Will try without a memo. That same memo worked fine the first time.

Is this the voting DAC?

727
I'm sure they'll figure it out but this is going to be a clusterfuck if they are on a fork.

728
What I'm trying to point out is that it is most likely not BTER's fault.

What platform are you running? On windows there were reports of missing transactions from the ledger, however the total funds available was correct. This is due to TITAN privacy technology. If transaction details are lost they can not be recovered but funds don't get lost.

Newbie question - how do you guys take those snapshots of your screens?

I just use PrntScrn on PC and Cmd+Shift+4 on Mac. You have to specify what platform. SnagIt is a very good software but might cost $$.

Yes. Alive and well. Withdrawals work as well. You may need some tiny initial BTSX to register your receiving address. If you post your address, someone will send you 1 BTSX to register.

There may be a faucet in the making, but I'm not sure of the status.

Competition is a very healthy thing, I welcome it. But this early on, it's good to cover as much ground as possible. Eventually we will overlap, and that's fine, that's how we get better.

Basically we got two unintended, inevitable consequences of DPOS:

1. People can delegate the job of voting to a slate.
2. Delegates can pay the individuals who vote for them.

We are now mitigating the risks these schemes pose.

Like Delulu I am most concerned about the Cynical Economy Threat: People will vote for delegates and slates that pay the most for individual votes (not via burn that appreciates everyone, but directly).

This is a case where negative voting "might" help. However I am still against it, since then people would be paying for negative votes.

That said - is it really possible to track who is voting for you?

Marketplace / Re: [Proposal] Virtual Mining Pool

Virtual Mining Pool

People mine in our virtual pool by giving us hashing power, you direct this power to the profitable minable coins at that moment, and then at intervals sell everything you earn to buy a non-mineable coin (btsx in this case) and give it back to the miners proportional to the power they contributed. Thus the people who mine in your virtual mining pool experience the situation as if they are mining btsx.

Got it. So exactly what I thought pools issuing payouts on the BTSX exchange, and I was even thinking, they could distribute in Bit assets, whatever people desire.

LITERALLY POOL MINING AND STORING VALUE IN GOLD!!! :)

Heh, I wonder if something like CEX.UI mining exchange could be done, once we have a market.

Me too !

I'm actually focused more on delegates statistics - block explorer I will do last, since there is one already in the client. So this is good because we probably won't overlap (yet).
