I sent a SMS to Virkam. Not sure if that helps. If possible we need shifts...

Really, you want a core team member in a different timezone, that would do the trick.

I'm trying to see if bter and btc38 can do retroactive snapshots

At this point in time that may be asking a lot in cost benefit...  We already narrowed the cost down to $325K which assuming only 20% was on exchanges we are talking $60,000.  The cost to the exchanges exceeds all fees they might have earned... it was our issue not theirs.    Lets save our relationship with the exchanges first by minimizing the amount of disruption we cause them.

oh,another exchange you need to contact is Yunbi  ,they're one of the DNS and BTSX exchange too,and doing great.
They're funded by Li XiaoLai(you know who...).
how do you want to contact them,I can help.

Thanks for mention Mars.Walker :)

Yunbi is capable of retroactive snapshots. We'll do our best to protect our customers' investments.

I think the point is it's bad to manipulate the value of people's assets through some 'proposal', no matter how great the proposals look like. What's the difference from gov?

Prices plunged, damages done. The whole drama is hurting people. I believe BM was not intended, but still, hurting. Please stop.

PLEASE HIRE A DEV OPS AND QA PERSON WITH AGS FUNDS.  VALUABLE TEAM MEMBERS ARE LOSING SLEEP BECAUSE OF AN UNNECESSARY LACK OF RESOURCES.

Yep... I am positive posting here greatly improves the compiling speed of toast's machine...

Ok I've been meaning to write a full post about  this.....but I will try to keep it short and sweet. Please correct me if I'm out of line, I'm basing my judgement on what it looks like from the outside, but.....

Where the fuck is the dev-ops engineer????
And a full time QA????  Can we have at least one?????

We've donated millions of dollars to the AGS fund to build the industry.  Can we not scimp on CRITICAL manpower and infrastructure?

We are throwing money away every time toast needs to do a build (and enhancing developer stress levels).  Time equals money and this is grunt work of a lower paid specialist.  I get that finding blockchain developers is difficult, and this is cutting edge stuff.  But testers are a dime a dozen, and a local dev-ops engineer should be easy enough to find too.

The rate that we have seen bad builds, builds for particular systems not ready, bugs that break markets, etc....it just looks like amateur hour.  Its irresponsible to be developing multi million dollar software that wants to be multi billion dollar software, and to not have reliable, trusted builds, that won't require immediate patching because of showstopping bugs.  Geez if I told the customers in my industry that they had to build from source, they would probably say 'fuck off, we're not paying you.'  The members of the forum are still customers - not an internal test team.

//end rant
