We cannot see whitepapers from the links in official site. It's a problem should be fixed and google is not a correct solution for it.

I cannot get all white papers. Link expired?

I don't understand what EOS is completely, but it seems having similar features to BitShares.
Will EOS replace BitShares?

I've found YOYOW, ICOO and etc succeeded ICO in bitshares.
Is there some list of projects that did ICO in bitshares?
I think it's important metric to compare with other platforms like Ethereum.

Following article stated ICOAGE and chainb.com are fork of bitshares.
https://steemit.com/beyondbitcoin/@jademont/should-we-welcome-the-fork-of-bitshares-cybex
But I can't find source of the information and code in github.
Is it right?

----Edit
Sorry I misunderstood that. Cyberex is fork of bitshares, ICOAGE and chainb.com isn't.
Does anybody know other projects that is fork of bitshares?

Where I've seen from https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitshares-asset-exchange/
bitCNY:BTS has 80% market, we want much volume for many markets.

And I want to ask, can we say dex have lower fee than centralized exchanges?
In terms of system, witnesses' process is similar to normal exchange. And witness do it because they want fee same as normal exchanges.
And API server like OpenLedgers is in the middle between witnesses and users, they run their services also because they want fee.
I think fundamentally there will be no large difference of fee between dex and centralized exchanges regardless current situation.

Thanks I understand. BitShares has a long life and many projects on it.

Thanks guys for your replies.
Graphene Ecosystem has many projects so they may engaged in those.

I googled by words like "bitshares ico raised", but I can only find BitSharesMunich raised $657,000, OpenLedger raised $1.6 million and so on.
How much did BitShares raised by selling BTS?

From what I've seen github(https://github.com/bitshares ), these days development is not so active.
Does BitShares go down, or are there just few tasks?

I see. I like dex because it can have lower fee than centralized exchange.
But I understand, in terms of spread, market depth is more important factor.

But normal exchange like poloniex doesn't have such large spread. (And I noticed ask/bid price is largely different from poloniex, there may be big chance of arbitrage.)
Does BitShares have some system feature that is cause of this problem?
Or is it just because of the timing I see the order books?

Currently best bid for OPEN.BTC:bitUSD is $2,295
and best ask is $2390
Spread is about $100!!
Why?

From what I've seen this link. https://cryptofresh.com/assets

Last 24h volume of top Openledger's UIAs;
OPEN.BTC:$303,554
OPEN.ETH:$39,353
OPEN.MUSE:$13,486
OPEN.USDT:$13,344
SUM:$369,736
All of these market fee are 0.2%
Daily profit is 0.002 * $369,736 = $739
Monthly is = $22,170

There is also a profit source from a difference of exchange rate between fee pool and market.
For example, OPEN.BTC's exchange rate at fee pool is 0.000016 OPEN.BTC/BTS
And exchange rate at market is about 0.000052 OPEN.BTC/BTS
Current fee of place order is 0.01213 BTS = $0.0015769
So profit from one trade is
(0.000052/0.000016) * $0.0015769 = $0.005124925
And from what I've seen trade history, there are about 80 matched orders in 1 hour.
So daily profit from difference of exchange rate at OPEN.BTC:BTS is
80 * 24 * $0.005124925 = $9.839856
Monthly is $295
And other markets are not so big, so I don't calculate.

I think, there is also profit source of invitation of members.
Does anybody know how large is it?

If it's not so big, I think monthly profit of Openledger is $25,000 ~ $40,000, of course it's very volatile.

So witness budget is 1,199BTS per hour and current number of active witnesses is 25.
We put 1BTS = 0.17USD, a witness daily profit can be estimated as 1,199 * 24hour / 25 = 1,151BTS = 195USD
And server cost must not be high because high performance isn't needed.

As I see the link, may be currently we have 5 worker as 4 team and 1 person.
The person Alfredo get payed daily 8,961BTS = 1,523USD ( Maybe when this worker proposal was approved, BTS was much cheaper)
And other teams are get payed 10,000BTS ~ 2,000,000BTS = 1,700USD ~ 340,000USD

How about other services?
I want to know profit of openledger.
If it's profitable I want to start similar service.
