BitShares AGS / Re: Tutorial?
« on: August 12, 2014, 11:41:29 pm »
I'm trying to import MultiBit wallet, I donated all from there. It says to put in exact path, is this the location on my pc such as C:\users\AppData etc etc? When I put a path and hit import nothing happens, it still also says network issues and catching up on the bottom right of bitshares, which I'm not sure if I need to wait for it to sync before attempting anything either.

P.S. thanks again for helping!

Why you guys hijack my thread, trying to get help here lol. So am I doing it right? it synced but when I hit import I get no error no nothing, just doesn't work at all.

Edit: Details> I used the path of multibit for C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Roaming\MultiBit etc and trying importing with file name included and not included. BitsharesX is fully synced as well.

BitShares AGS / Tutorial?
« on: August 10, 2014, 03:54:21 pm »
I donated btc to ags, and now that the donating period is over I came back to see what is going on but cannot figure out how to get the AGS moved to bitsharesx wallet, and don't even know if that's where they go. I downloaded the wallet and made a username but cannot register without it being funded. Can anyone give me a step by step on what to do now?

Nice site! You should include categories in the videos like the intro one for PTS/ATS/Keyhotee and feature DAC in own respected areas.

BitShares PTS / Which GPU Miner
« on: March 22, 2014, 12:29:43 am »
So question for you guys, I have a spare rig running BAMT right now and wanted to try to convert it to PTS mining. It runs 4 r9 270's getting 450khs each and 1 xfx 7950 getting 650khs on it. What am I looking at if I used it to convert to CPM with PTS/Day etc and what program would you all recommend. I read the GPU miner thread from 1GH for ubuntu, would that work or is there a guide someone made for BAMT. I would rather not install ubuntu.

General Discussion / Bitshares Visibility Question
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:37:30 pm »
I am not speaking on behalf of anyone but myself, but from my perspective on the Bitshares Infrastructure as a whole it took way to long to understands the whole idea and platform you guys are trying to create. I went through the forums and projects and dug around for awhile to fully grasp how everyone is creating the DAC's and the overall brilliant idea of how to make the blockchain useable for all online scenarios etc. Might I suggest you put a "About" or "Join the Change" or some cool catchy section on the front of the website on a link at the top of the page with video's that you don't have to dig around for through the forums to find as well as business graph models that I have seen you create through whiteboards with explanations. This one thing alone could really help the project move forward in my opinion, because when I first found out about bitshares I didn't get the full picture right away and steered over to other projects for awhile. Just my .02 bits.

I believe you guys are making huge strides and I think you have potential to change the world unless anything else comes out soon and this needs to be known more.

PS: can I be an alpha tester for things =P

Keyhotee / Clarification on this
« on: March 14, 2014, 06:43:33 am »
I know this has probably been covered already, but I'm looking at this and curious as to how it fully works. So if you used keyhotee can it still be possible for the administrators of the software and domainshares to capture this information, thus leaving goverments forcing this information out of administrators? How is this addressed or is this not even an issue and I'm just missing something.

BitShares AGS / Re: New and confused
« on: March 12, 2014, 09:42:22 pm »
So I sent it from my BTC Wallet, so as long I as keep the wallet safe with the transaction in it I should be able to pull a private key off it to claim the AGS later somehow?

BitShares AGS / New and confused
« on: March 12, 2014, 02:24:31 am »
So I donated with BTC to Bitshare AGS angel address, and I am wondering on how this will work with shares as this comes out? I do understand the 5000 shares split for 200 days, but how do we collect or prove we donated? Can someone please explain as I'm wandering through the forums and cannot really find or understand the explanation to this.
