Im in the same boat, hav'nt looked at this for years, http://www1.agsexplorer.com/balances/1huM19dznDrA3uqt7WZGAS4Zjpfi7izaG
I have a Bitsharesx.json and AGS.json from 8/2014. Is this still relevant, or dead and gone?
Is it worth trying to figure out, or just gonna be a waste of time.
Any feedback would be good. Thx

Hello again,
I have tried to import private keys again still no luck, can you please let me now what i need to do???? my donation address is 1huM19dznDrA3uqt7WZGAS4Zjpfi7izaG  the wallet i used was here https://blockchain.info/wallet, i selected export private keys unencrypted, qt bitcoin format selected both the keys beginning with 5, added them using the WIF PRIVATE KEY  option in the btsx wallet, it says they are both successfully added ,it rescans blockchain, and no result???  Any ideas what i am doing wrong? i also tried IMPORT KEYS FROM WALLET but i get this message Db::open: Invalid argument (13) Db::open: Invalid argument: error importing bitcoin wallet E:/DOCUME~1/BTC/WALLET~1.JSO  I would really like to get this going, please can someone help

Nothing wrong you don't have BTSX because you donate after 28 Feb http://www1.agsexplorer.com/balances/1huM19dznDrA3uqt7WZGAS4Zjpfi7izaG
This address get DNS and Votes shares at snapshot 21 Aug and you can redeem your shares after clients will be released.
Thankyou for the reply,
Ok so i need to wait for a different wallet to be released?  I am so lost, I was under the understanding that, i donated back in march, an once the countdown was completed i would receive an allocation of btsx, by adding my private keys to the btsx wallet?
I have been running the btsx wallet, but i guess that is not correct? So what do i need to do ?

Its not wise to post your encrypted privkey as you just did .. I advice you to remove the quote in your post immediatelly.

To you question: the btsx wallets expects a WIF formated privkey which is basically the bitcoin-q output format

Thanx, i have 20.75 Ags showing here http://www1.agsexplorer.com/  this address 1huM19dznDrA3uqt7WZGAS4Zjpfi7izaG, Also i deleted a large section of all the numbers in the last post,so i dont think anyone will get in, and that wallet is empty, as i was a bit sus on this whole process. i have copied to 2 keys in bitcoin qt, and imported them successfully, but nothing in the wallet as yet.

Technical Support / help to import keys

Hello, i
I have managed to get the wallet running and synced, as far as i can tell all is good, i am trying to add my private keys, from https://blockchain.info/wallet, there are several options as to the format to export. eg Base58, bitcoin qt, Base64, hex. then there is encrypted or unencrypted, then i am presented with a text file.

anyway i have  entered the key beside my address in the add key option in the wallet, it said succesful, but i still have a 0 balance, can some one, shed some light for me , I am not a coder and have a very limited knowledge of this sort of thing.
Regards Dan

So is there a functional windows 7 wallet as yet?

Technical Support / Re: Bitshares.exe will not open Windows 7
« on: July 29, 2014, 02:44:06 am »
I have tried running in compatibility mode, with no success,  and i am out of my league trying to even contemplate, compiling a wallet installer, I'm sure just adding my private keys will be challenging enough, if i can get the wallet installed, anyway will patiently await functional wallet.

15
Thanx ,
But i  cant even finish the wallet install:(
Starting bitshares client, and then just crashes?
Tried reinstalling same issue Running windows 7,
I have 20 ags shares someone may as well have. as im not savy enough to get this shit to work

hang tight! don't lose hope yet. the software will become refined and easier to use. other DACs will come out too.
Thanx,
well ill hang in there then,
thanxs for the moral support :)

when bitcoin first came out it was a giant pain in the ass to use too.
