There was a hard fork with old wallet

Figured. But just to be really sure. If I export my .json wallet, install the latest version, then import the wallet, my funds would be intact right? I'm using OS X Mavericks. Thanks.

Something's wrong.  I mean really.  I cannot sync my wallet. It's really slow.  I hope the Bitshares crew are looking into it.
I'm still at wallet 0.3.0 and couldn't sync past block 275171. It gives up after awhile then attempts to sync again starting at 275165.

Why don't you upgrade your mac...?
Good point. Then again, aren't these things supposed to accommodate the most number of users? It's not like I'm using Windows XP.

Upgrading your mac to 10.9.4 is free and something that you should probably do... The only mac users that will not be able to use the client are those with macs that are 5 or more years old and cannot upgrade past 10.6.8. While running OS X Lion is not the same as running XP, you have still neglected to update your mac for the past 2 years...
Upgrading now. Thanks!

Just did. Perhaps there should be some kind of message recommending that people upgrade
If they don't ever plan to fix it, then yeah, put a notice or something. Meanwhile my BTSX's are just waiting to get GOX'd sitting on an exchange, waiting for an update that works.

Ok, can we get a copy of the log files from ~/Library/Application Support/BitShares X/ ?

Hey BM, there is no bitshares x folder. Would the apple error report help?

Couldn't open mine in OSX 10.7.5 to begin with. Crashes instantly when you do.

[Mac] Couldn't even open (either that or it crashes instantly as I double click it) in OSX 10.7.5
