Muse/SoundDAC / Re: BEWARE what advice you take on this forum

This has been resolved. No further issues and Muse is a solid platform.

So how did you get it resolved? I'm in the same boat you were in but don't see that anything has changed.

Yes, I would to know the resolution to the problem as well because my account shows the same error

General Discussion / Re: btsbots wallet release v0.0.1
« on: October 15, 2017, 05:59:29 pm »
Does anyone have a basic way to get started and actually profit? I have watched  both the video JohnnyBitcoin did and read the article and they only explain how to get BTSBOTS working.

What are some basic trading strategies one should know for setting the settings?

For example, a trader is bullish on BTC, what would be the settings you would set?  2% on buy side and 1% on sell side?

What if you just want to create liquidity? would set  buy and sell to 1%in a larger more liquid market like CNY, USD, ETH, BTS?

What if you are bearish on a certain coin?

What if you just want to accumulate and make a small profit?

I have trading for couple days now and seem to be losing money so far

I had open order to sell BitBTC when 0.9.3c  was shut down. I had taken a backup of the wallet 2 days before 0.9.3c was shutdown.  I created a new wallet at 2.0 and imported my keys.   I do not have the BitBTC  that was on the open order.

I looked in the 2.0 exchange as well and do not see the BitBTC in an open order .

So  I reopended 0.9.3c and run it till the deadline of Oct 13th and taken a new backup of my wallet( the open order is till not  returned to my account and was not filled)

So how do I resubmit my new backup to my  2.0 wallet with out messing anything up and find my open order?

So if Bter returns all BTC,  CFSGold will go back to a value of 1 instead of .7?   And CFScoins are being issued on the full unit price? or 0.7 price?

So if we don't need the BTS, just leave CFSgold alone and it will go back to full unit, original value? and higher hopefully if there is market demand :-)

Surprised nobody has asked, what is the reason for the question fuzzy?

Probably related to this ??? https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=15191.0  votes count more if the voter is using the gourl plugin on their blog

The process seems pretty self explanatory to me.  Status quo works for me

In other news the recent BTS/BTC transaction field seems to be intermittent, shows for 30 seconds, then nothing for 30 seconds

All balances of alt coins and BTC restored on Bter. Although I had almost non-existent balances of alt coins.

I had several BTC in orders at time of hack. And all BTC balances and orders have been reinstated too.  +5% +5%

General Discussion / Re: Cryptohedge and the bter hack
« on: March 12, 2015, 08:07:00 pm »
Hey everybody,

The BTER hack was really terrible for Cryptohedge because it put at risk all of the work we’ve been doing to improve bitAsset liquidity. Cryptohedge had almost all of its CFS asset funds on the exchange at the time of the attack.

We're working to figure out our exposure. We see the most likely outcome as the majority of all bitcoins will get a haircut while all altcoins will be returned.

Cryptohedge held around 93 BTC worth of CFS client funds on BTER in BTC, BTS, bitGold, and bitUSD. Of these funds about 27 BTC were exposed to the hack while the remaining funds were in assets or off exchange.

CFS asset funding is temporarily halted. Since the CFSBTC funding round just began and the BTC we received did not get touched, we'll refund those to anyone who is interested. Please PM me if you have CFSBTC and want to redeem it for your BTC.

To CFSGOLD and CFSUSD holders: We will be forthcoming with updates as soon as new information is made available by BTER and will arrange a buyback/withdrawal as soon as possible. Despite this huge setback we plan to keep Cryptohedge moving forward and get bitAsset liquidity going on Yunbi instead.  This means there will also be the option of staying on as a funder. We hope to compensate for a part of the losses by doing an early CFSCOIN sharedrop on all funders.  Only by moving forward and staying in business will this compensation have any value. We took a hit, but we’re not out.

Has trading resumed to normal? or is there still accounting and losses to account for?

All my BTC was in orders when hacked, All my BTC is still in orders after they reopened.

Apparently BTC in orders was not stolen?

General Discussion / Re: BitShares network topology

Initially the clients connect to a random subset of seed nodes.

How are nodes added to the set?

https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares/blob/ee44418782f1b519480ddab7eb845b0612a99498/libraries/client/include/bts/client/seed_nodes.hpp

Provided by volunteers and delegates. I encourage everyone to help!

so maybe a short tutorial  – how to setting up a node – would be useful for users who want to help IMO!
