General Discussion / Interesting Nxt Marketing campaign

Found this very interesting marketing proposition on Btc-talk.
I think we should try and approach him to have him work with us.

He was actually talking about the size of total investments in the coin-world to the market cap of bitcoins.
The interviewer enquires why there's so much noise around coin-vestments and yet only about 110-150 million dollars have flown from major vc's to start-ups. So gives an analysis of the total market cap and compares it with the investment to explain why its reasonable.

Really good interview. Tim Draper and Draper university are renown amongst entrepreneurs for what they do. Draper is quite open to new ideas. If Dan would like to have a meeting with him / others here have an interesting proposition for the man -I can help you get in touch :)

There's a forum funded , invictus partnered, venture fund backed - exchange in the making already. I think the user Domsch here is heading it and he also has a thread constantly updating users here about progress being made on it.
Anyone interested in implementing something should  hit him up. I don't see as to why anyone would use this in comparison to them.

BitShares PTS / Another block explorer
« on: February 24, 2014, 05:49:26 am »
Been working with forum moderator (testz) on getting another block explorer up.
Currently we have 2 independently handled block explorers online.
One can be used while the other is down.

I have more servers that I'd be glad to allocate to more forum projects.
For the moment you may check the explorer at

http://ptsexplorer.renegade.im/chain/BitShares-PTS

If you feel charitable to a dude who's lost 1000 PTS :| - feel free to send them over to PcJ6GEmrCV7iZietqqvw5PLDMM5zZ3unsg
If you have more projects that require a server - reach out to me and I'll see what I can do for you

Sure - my team is a bit busy at the moment, and am not very good handling the code/technical aspects of things.
If someone can set things up - I can give them server access - PM me and we can figure a way to take this forward.
Don't want the system to go down :/

I am messaging you as we speak -lets get something online :) and hit the system back on

I will message you regarding this
I would love to set up 10 high speed node servers  atleast until things get back to normal.
Sure there are expenses but this one's on me <3

"
Also it seems a small amount of people have accidentally donated their BTC/PTS for AGS from exchange wallets, further exacerbating the aforementioned quagmire."

Thats a really scary situation and a dumb thing to do at the same time

No idea - wait a while longer.
If nothing happens I'll set up a private node on a few servers and you can add them in personally so things get back to normal.
Pm me if the issue lasts for long

Haha neither - I just have access to a lot of servers around the globe

15
For the fellow developers
I'd like to offer 10 dedicated servers for this project for an entire year for a share of the bounty (although only 3 are actually needed -the rest can be used for other projects)
I will also be using the How To to set-up the same on a third and 4th server
Servers will be split globally
Locations am looking at - USA,Tokyo,Ireland and Sydney

I lost 1000 PTS recently, and I guess this can be one way to recover it :)
