Yes, we are looking into integrating our bridge into the reference wallet. Our plan is to provide a bridge service between BTC/ETH and the BitShares Platform with competitive pricing. The range of tokens we convert to bitassets will increase in the future. For now, we have tested our services and are starting with Bitcoin and Ethereum. The Payger Bridge is used within the Payger wallet and for all payment features.

How are things coming along with Payger?

Hi CM here are our latest news https://payger.com/blog/march-newsletter-2019/ .

We are preparing the April newsletter for this week. Last month we were working on a new release of the Payger Wallet that goes live this week. The highlights are our new Payger bridge that goes live for BTC/ETH/BTS to BitEUR/BitUSD/BitCNY . Through using our own bridge we are reducing the current exchange fees drastically. Further, we lowered our KYC onboarding requirement and regular users can now register with their username, password, e-mail, pin, and their password recovery phrase. You can create an account now in less than 5 min.

Cheers Chris

« on: January 10, 2019, 05:59:10 pm »
as subject, i was intent on sending 10000 BitCNY to the account phoenixy-bit, but accidentally sent to phoenix , and seems this account is a death account, any chance to get the money back?
Only if you have a chance to reach out to the pheonix account. Was the account active within the last months? Maybe you can find him in the telegram channels.

Do you plan on adding RUDEX UIA (exchange backed assets like RUDEX.GRC) support to Payger in the future? I massively appreciate the addition of OPEN.GRC, however OL has had this EBA on hold (suspended deposits/withdrawals) since early 2017 where as RUDEX.GRC has active deposits/withdrawals. OPEN.GRC did survive the most recent delisting wave: https://dex.openledger.io/news/announcement-gateways-openledger-dex/

Where Payger could fit into the Gridcoin ecosystem is within a theoretical commercialized BOINC project. BOINC projects perform volunteer distributed computing, by adding a paywall and a generic compute task submission process, one could spin up cloud computing businesses (offering compute in return for crypto) with effectively free computing power to compete against Golem, iEXc, sonm, and traditional cloud VPS businesses. The changes could take place within the existing (decades old) BOINC web server code which is programmed mostly in PHP and C++.

Keep up the good work though guys, it was great meeting you all in person at bitfest 👍

Hi CM, it was great meeting you in Amsterdam too.

Sure we can add RUDEX.GRC for trading. I will add to our coin list and inform you once we added the coin to Payger.

Best regards,
Chris

This week I have fantastic news for all Payger Users. We finished the integration of the Cryptobridge Bridge in the Payger Wallet for depositing and withdrawing coins. Payger Wallet Users are now able to deposit 1:1 Bitcoin into their Payger Account and will receive a Bridge.BTC in their accounts for free. No Deposit fees applied! With the latest upgrade Payger Wallet 1.0.428 we are extending our functions and you can now deposit Bitcoin, LTC, Dash, Ether and many more 1:1 into your account. This is a big improvement over the last version, previously users had to convert their deposit BTC into BitCNY or BTS to top up their accounts. Now they can deposit BTC directly and receive the full value in their accounts!

We are now supporting in total 63 Tokens including multiple stablecoins. More coins will be added over time and on request. Here is the full list.

Regarding the BitUSD Blackswan in November 2018
We continue to support BitAssets like BitUSD, BitGold, BitSilver, and others in the Payger Ecosystem. Users can buy/sell BitAssets via the DEX and use them as a store of value. We are looking forward to a constructive community approach to reset and active the settled BitAssets as soon as possible. The BitShares BitAssets are one of the key USP for this Blockchain and we all need to work hard on resetting the lost assets.

So GS happened and BitUSD is now on hold. No more new BitUSD creation. What are the options now to restart this BitAsset? Do we have an emergency plan yet to recover all GS assets on the dex?

The BTS backed stable coins are one of the BitShares Blockchain strongest USP and we should put all our forces on it to recover from GS.

Can some of the committee members and witnesses summarize our options now?

Can I use payger's woocommerce plugin with any BTS DEX asset? It'd be great if I could use either/or OPEN.GRC & RUDEX.GRC to buy goods online, since GRC doesn't currently have any payment processor support at the moment.

Yes, we can enable that with one of our next plugin improvements. I am adding you to the list of new accepted assets.

Dear qngshn,
thank you for your questions and your long-term support. Every day I and my team are working hard to create the value you asked for. With Payger we created a unique and very powerful non-custodian multi-currency wallet based on the BitShares Blockchain. You find no easier access to the BitShares Ecosystem than with the Payger Wallet.

With our user-friendly design, you can manage, trade and transfer up to 50+ Crypto Currencies, 5+ Stablecoins within seconds. We completed what Moonstone.io was trying to do in 2015 and created a save, easy and modern Browser Wallet for the BitShares Community and beyond. While most BitShares projects are focusing on the DEX and building interfaces for traders, we at Payger moved to the next level and created an interface for regular users who want to just simply manage their funds, easily transfer crypto to their friends and want to exchange BTS to BitCNY and more over the BitShares DEX. Payger is leading the next waves of businesses building on the BitShares Blockchain.

You can find our full Payger Wallet tutorial here: https://payger.com/blog/payger-wallet-tutorial/

Further, we also created the first WooCommerce Plugin now available for millions of online stores worldwide, that is directly linked with the BitShares Blockchain as Merchants who use the Payger Merchant Services are receiving BitCNY and BitUSD etc. as payout currency. That means Payger is creating real value for the BitShares Blockchain and the BitShares community as we drive consumer adoption and bring real business on our platform.

See our merchant tutorial here: https://payger.com/blog/payger-woocommerce-plugin-tutorial/

Please also join our Telegram channel for additional information.

i find there are about  20000k bts in bitshares-munich-wallet when Christoph Hering and  Ken Code gone away, the project cost must be aduited .would u like direct broadcasting the progress of the safeguard legal rights?

As mentioned before you can see all the financial details in the link provided above. All expenses are audited and public visible via the blockchain.

Please ask Ken for status updates about stealth, as we are not involved in stealth anymore.

Another update:

We have been listed/mentioned under the sponsor section on decentralized.com.

Currently finalizing the agenda with them.
They cancelled the relevant panel we had planned so I convinced them to upgrade the spokesperson's participation from panelist to speaker.

So now we get TWO speaker slots.

Spokesperson will have a talk in the "Blockchain and Financial Services" session.
Ryan will have a talk under one of the "Blockchain Technology Advances" sessions.

Getting them the necessary information to finalize the proper listings & bios asap.

These are fantastic news and exactly what the BitShares Blockchain needs for years. Representation at international conferences with sponsoring, booths and good content. This will open the eyes of thousands of blockchain enthusiasts to the great BitSahres tech. Thank you @clockwork @fox and @annemike for organizing this sponsorship!

Is that a public discussion somewhere?

There has been an academic paper by blockchain.com . You can find it here https://blog.blockchain.com/2018/09/26/the-state-of-stablecoins/ .

I am also voting for this proposal. I am looking forward to the first results and updates for a interface update.

Payger news update

The development of Payger continues with giant strides. We are making significant advances in design, usability, and functionality.

Adding new functions to the Payger Wallet
Payger currently supports 51 digital currencies, including Bitcoin, BitShares, as well as stable coins for US Dollars and Euros and Chinese Renminbi. The most popular cryptocurrencies outside of the BitShares realm, such as Ethereum, Dash, and Steem, are now highlighted with icons. That gives users a better overview.

The Payger Wallet supports up to 51 different digital currencies

Moreover, we implemented a currency filter to our dashboard and balance page. This feature can be used to filter out currencies users don’t want to see, and changes are saved from page to page and session-to-session. This will help users to keep their wallets clean and to focus on their favorite digital currencies. New users are starting with the default set of digital currencies including BTC, BTS, USD, CNY, EUR.

Besides supporting a broad range of digital currencies, Payger offers special functions for merchant’s accounts. Also, our developers have worked hard on improving the backend API. This now ensures that all payment features such as payment status, payment transaction, add type to transaction history, initiate payment, balance service, payment update or payment work smoothly.

Improving the user experience
Best-in-class user-friendliness is ensured by the enhanced Payger design and new operating aids. For example, developers have provided the login process with a wizard that guides users through checking their accounts. Also, many other enhancements and bugfixes simplify the use of Payger on smartphones and tablets. For example, it is also possible to transfer identification documents to Payger for the account verification.

On top of that, the developers have implemented new notification modes for the Payger Wallet. Users can now choose to stay up-to-date with the latest Wallet notifications and/or email or SMS. Last but not least, it is now possible to invite friends to Payger, so that the community grows faster. Why not give it a try?
