Thanks SCALA for resolving this issue.

Can you explain more about this? Does that help me in my case? Can I use this as a layman?

Thanks for this great tool. It works very well.

Is there also a way to automatically convert the displayed trades into a better format? Only asset IDs etc. are displayed (not the coin names) and therefore do not directly show the trades.

I have to declare every single trade for tax purposes. Thus typical entries like Buy 1 ETH for xxx BTC... would be important.

Unfortunately, I'm still under pressure. In addition, I don't currently have much time to solve the problem myself.

4
Thanks for the tutorial. I'll try and let you know in the next few weeks.

You can always submit to IRS official documentation and say the truth "They don't support instant export of financial books, i have to pay and wait for the process of generating such reports", as any other reasonable person would do in your case.

My place of residence is not in the USA. By IRS, I meant "tax authorities" in my country. But maybe I can do the same thing.

1) Find a friend, wife, sister, cousin who is a bit technical and ever used Linux or Mac and you are 40% good to go.

I am a little bit technical. I have also used Ubuntu before. Besides, I'm good at reading myself in. But I need a good detailed guide for this exact problem. However, my basic knowledge is limited. Of course, I don't want to study for days just to get a simple export. The trustworthy people around me have little technical understanding.

Despite technical hurdles, OpenLedger should still simplify this process for laymen. Taxes affect most people and sooner or later most of them will have to deal with the subject. I think such problems limit the growth of OpenLedger and bitshares.

Can someone provide a detailed guide that allows technically average informed people to get this export done?

No one has an answer? Something so simple should be possible without any problems.

Openledger. info has the following info:

"We are not able to show you all the information about your transaction history - only the latest 100.
Check this link https://github.com/openledger/openledger_nodejs_api to find out full history."

I'm not an expert. How does it work with nodejs_api? Is there a comprehensible guide for laymen somewhere? I just want to download the complete transaction history. I need this urgently!

How can I view the full transaction history or order history? Recent activity does not show all orders. I need the information for the IRS.

Day 5:  Support still did not transfer my LSK back to my account as promised.
Also LSK withdrawal is still not working.

My trust in the team of Bitshares, Openledger, ... went to zero. I have no access to this amount anymore. Obviously, It seems I must now take legal action.

Technical Support / OpenLedger Lisk withdrawal does not work!!

LSK withdrawal did not work. I contacted the support. Answer: "There is an issue with LSK. We kindly ask you to wait with withdrawal. For now we just can return funds to your account."

I answered: "Please inform me, when LSK withdrawal is working again. I hope it is in the next few days. Also please return the LSK funds to my account now, as written in your email."

Support answered: "ok"

Now one day later the support still did not transfer my LSK back to my account.

Also it's nearly impossible to sell LSK at market price at OpenLedger because of low volume.

So even after transfering the LSK back to my account it would be impossible to get the money out of OpenLedger.

So what now??  >:( >:(
