BitShares PTS / Re: [HOW-TO] Fund/register accounts

Hi,

How do I transfer my old PTS here?

2
Hi,

I dont want to start a new thread, but I have been out of this for a couple of months. Now all my PTS is in the old wallet and I need to transfer to the new one. How do I do this? And have I lost out on something?

works each on it's own instance - will not work as devices "0 1" but 2 separate instances works.

2332c/m on 290X
1150c/m on 270X

4 instances running fine - 2 on 290X (1900/1214) 2 on 270X (970/568)

Hi has anyone managed to solve this problem. I am having the same issue on my 6990

Anyone try this with a 7990?

ANyway why are AMD guys mining PTS, does it not make more sense to mine doge or something? Or is PTS actually turning you a higher profit?

BitShares PTS / Re: GPU Mining and the market price of PTS

Since I didnt want to start a new topic on this, can someone educate me as to why PTS is falling on a daily basis. I normally mine PTS and then exchange to Bitcoin, but the last few trades have been loss making for me.

Also I cant seem to wrap my brain around the whole Bitshares/Keyhote thingy. Can someone explain that as well. Thanks.

ANy updates to the miner, the GPU one?

Just for my understanding, when the block shows as immature, does it mean that the gpu is mining, or has it finished mining and waiting for the confirmation for payout?
The 'immature' means that the block is found by the pool but cannot be spent (shares payed to miners) yet. Your gpu is mining next blocks during that.

Thats what I wanted to know, thanks. And the pool seems to have got invigorated over the last few days. Lots of action.

One more question, how can we check who found a block, or anyway to check if I have found a block. Cheers.

Funny, after my last message here, my share per block has gone down to .030 +/- a bit. Have a lot of new miners jumped onto 1GH lately?

Also is 1070 cpm ok on a 770 GTX? Will it get better if I OC the card?

So its been a bit more than a day, with a disconnection in between, but I feel, I am earning less. I may be totally wrong though as I have not put things on a timer.

I have a question though. I understand the 20 people one car and 10 people one car example given earlier in this thread or somewhere else about smaller pools working in the same way as larger pools in terms of payout as there are fewer workers for the same reward.

But does the number of blocks found make a difference as well? For eg on the larger pool I see a block found every few minutes from various pool members, but on 1GH, I see a block once every few hours or so, maybe sometimes 2 in the same hour, but these are few and far between.

Does this make a difference to payout?
The pool luck is lower than what is statistically justified: at current difficulty and total hashrate it should be finding around 10 blocks per day. But the same goes to beeeeer.org, so it looks like the *cough* bigger pool is employing some dirty techniques after all.

Also wanted to check. My average payout seems to be .05 per block. This does not seem to change much irrespective of the number of shares. Is that normal?

By long run, do you mean a week, a few weeks, a month?

BitShares PTS / Re: Why is ypool destroying PTS? (70% mined by ypool)
« on: January 16, 2014, 09:11:12 am »
So taking the suggestion of some of the guys on this thread, I started using 1Gh. But the payouts so far seem to be far lower than what I was making at ypool. I admit its only been a couple of hours since I started, but on an avergae I get around .4-.5 pts a day, so I am going to run it for a day and see where it goes. At this point at 6 hours in I am looking at barely anything. .0035. At this rate, its not going to work out to what I normally get.

So there has to be more to it than what we see. Maybe I should try beeeeer as well.

I have been mining on this pool for a few hours now and payouts seem to be very low as compared to where I was mining earlier. I am at around 1000 cpm but I just dont see any returns. Am I reading too much into the numbers?
