How to set this miner?
I created a *bat file with only  "gw_miner.exe 162.243.67.4 Pj3XYFCXofPzYTAMfpH9LU2uYpSz4hdeBA", and got this

i tried pts.rpool.net:2336, but the same story against of ptsminer 0.7 works with wallet address and number of threads inserted in bat

This miner is for solo-mining

Example usage
gw_miner.exe <local_IP> <RPC_Username> <RPC_Password>

Mining RieCoin at your pool (ric.upcpu.com) why is there so many orphans? Is there something wrong with the pool?

Hello,
i stay two days mining on the pool. I have a FX8350  with 8gb ram, minimg 120collision/min. I see on the forums that people with this processor and ram makes 250collision/min.

I utilize v0.7 with windows 8.1 64 bits.

Config:

ptsminer_amd.exe USER 8 27 sph

Any idea to improve?

thanks

Run with avx.

ptsminer_amd.exe USER 8 27 sph   >>   ptsminer_avx_amd.exe USER 8 27 avx

Protoshares isn't using scrypt algorithm. See other threads for gpu mining.

Guys, anybody with Nvidia here? Care to post your results? Seems impossible to get a honest benchmark from another camp..

Ubuntu x64
GTX 570 around 960+ c/m
GTX 560Ti around 660+ c/m

Ryen123, boot ubuntu to pure command line and run miner from there as sudo.

Modify your file /etc/default/grub with

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="text"
and do sudo update-grub. The machine will boot in text mode.

**To start the graphical interface you do

sudo service lightdm start

I still want to use the pc while mining so running in command line is not for me. Thanks anyways.

Using the ubuntu 64-bit gpu client. My system has 2 nvidia gpus 570 gtx and 560 ti.

When trying to run the miner with 570 gtx I get the error below and doesn't run. But it works and runs well with the 560 ti. Anyway to solve this?

Looks like the card cannot allocate 512M memory in one piece. Not sure what could cause this. Is your display connected to it?

Yes 570gtx is my primary card driving my monitor. Could it be insufficient memory? The 570gtx is 1.3GB and 560ti is 2GB.

Thank You, for your great development!

It compiled fine under ubuntu 12.04. Its also running, but does not get any collision:

It is an NVIDIA Quadro 3000M GPU and I edited the makefile to sm_20. With 30 is is the same.

What can cause the problem?

Yours should be sm_21. Try and see.

Finally a block after 12.5 hours

14
Almost every block is mined by ypool.

Hi all,

the cudapts run great on my GT 560 at 540 cpm, gentoo AMD64.

Anyway, I can not found my shares on http://ptsweb.beeeeer.org/user/<my pts address>.

Is it really working?

Yes the user stats does work. If you only just started mining then you'll have to wait till a block is found by the pool.
