Trying to send some bitshares, but keep getting this error...  help?

"Failed to broadcast the transaction:
Your transaction has expired without being confirmed, please try again later."

in the console it says

Code: [Select]
app.js:76 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property 'message' of undefined
    at app.js:76
    at <anonymous>
(anonymous) @ app.js:76

EDIT:  I downloaded the light client on a different computer and restored my backup.  I was able to send after doing that.  both computers are running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6

When I try importing my bitshares wallet backup.json, I get "Failed to broadcast the transaction:  Now <= trx.expiration"

I left the client open all day and when I came back and typed info into the console I get this...

Code: [Select]

The console stopped working after entering the info command, so I quit the app and reopened it.

wallet_export_keys /home/MYUSERNAME/keys.jon

I'm on Mac OS X 10.11 so there is no /home directory. After re-opening the wallet, I tried
Code: [Select]
wallet_export_keys  /Users/[myUserName]/btskey.json  but it didn't do anything.

Am I doing something wrong?  I've got a lot of BTS in this wallet from the PTS snapshot, but the mac client has never worked well :(  I really want to believe that bitshares 2.0 will be different!!

5
wallet_export_keys command to export my keys isn't working either :(

Tried this....

wallet_export_keys ~/desktop/btskeys.json

6
Typing "info" in console didn't do anything.  The command just disappears when I hit enter and nothing happens...

7
Been trying to get my bitshares wallet synced up for the last week so I can get my bts from poloniex into my own private keys before the snapshot.

The wallet finally says blocks are synced, but when I tried to withdrawal they aren't showing up in my wallet...  Tried twice to send from poloniex to wallet.

What is the correct way to send BTS from an exchange to a wallet?!

Here are the 2 test withdrawals.

BTS   1.50000000   idealist   2015-10-13 03:19:08   COMPLETE: 83e292e432071c78e0b68f8c331e6178264d16a0

BTS   1.50000000   BTS8fFazQMeAF5fPdTfbzGMKwJ8b2Yo7Cj2y9NR6mULfdaMrh3TRp   2015-10-13 00:19:36   COMPLETE: 0feaf64fe7bb8444725f029351f6fc283f46b679

as a side note, The wallet says "transaction scanning progress is 1%", and has been like that all day.  It doesn't seem to actually be scanning transactions....  is that why they aren't showing up?

Please help.  I really want to get my BTS in my wallet before the snapshot!

Can you try syncing from a chain server?
I only requires a single modification in your configuration file:
http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/BitShares/Chain-Server

Added chain server to config.  It's showing 1 connection now, but doesn't seem to be downloading.

The hard drive is working really hard (5+ GB read/2+GB written so far since last launch of the app) and cpu is 100%.

edit:  I think it might be syncing now....  I'm gonna leave it open for a while and come back later to see if it ever finishes.

Bitshares 0.9.2 crashes when I try to quit normally...
http://pastebin.com/VuVs0DrL

I'm also having blockchain syncing issues. I have port 1776 forwarded and the app says i'm connected to 20+ peers, but the blockchain doesn't seem to be updating, stuck at 19 days behind.  Activity monitor shows endless reading and writing to the hard drive, and 100% cpu usage.

General Discussion / Re: Introducing BitShares Object Graph

I'm a FileMaker database developer.  This sounds a lot like the way FileMaker stores relationships in a relationship graph.

Very cool that this will be part of Bitshares!

anyone working on Mac version of PTS wallet?

Thanks!

So basically you're simplifying things by consolidating DACs on to one BitShares blockchain?

I just don't have time to dig though threads and figure out whats going on.

I see that there is some kind of merger happening that has split the community a bit.

Can anyone give a concise explanation of the state of things in the BitShares ecosystem right now?
