General Discussion / Just sent to wrong address

Just sent 974 BTSX to the name bter instead of my own.. My registered name is also 4 characters so seeing bter everywhere I accidentally input it instead of my own.
Stupid mistake, good thing i didn't lose alot. Is there any safeguard against sending to the wrong alias? typos will happen.
The owner of that address is going to be rich one day.

BitShares AGS / Isn't it better to purchase AGS with BTC than PTS?

Example: I am the only one who invests in AGS for the day both via BTC and PTS
PTS = .0071BTC therefore 140PTS = 1BTC
I donate 1BTC to AGS I net a return of 5000AGS
I donate 140PTS to AGS I net a return of 5000AGS, however I lost 140PTS for the donation. So I really netted 4860 AGS and converted 140PTS into 140AGS.
Therefore the donation efficiency measure is deceiving no?
Am I wrong?
