Technical Support / Sever network problems
« on: July 08, 2015, 12:18:32 pm »
When opening client (9.2) there is a message stating 'sever network problems delegate participation rate is below 60%'. So I checked bitsharesblocks.com and see that the participation rate = 99.02%.  Why the discrepancy?  Thanks in advance.

Technical Support / Metaexchange
« on: June 16, 2015, 04:58:56 pm »
Can someone point to a source where there is a blow by blow description on how to use Metaexchange? I'm kind of new to all this and am finding the buy/sell page a bit cryptic.
Thanks..

Clicked on blockchain.info and got this message: "Maximum concurrent requests for this endpoint reached. Please try again shortly."  I've been getting on their site for a couple of years and it's the first time I got this message.  Thanks in advance.

Technical Support / 0.6.1 crash scenario
« on: February 20, 2015, 07:51:12 pm »
I have brought up 6.1 five days in succession now.  Each time it eventually synchronizes and I'm able to click on account name, dashboard tab, delegates tab etc.  Then I go to the exchange page and when I click on that page anywhere it crashes.  Never experienced this problem with previous versions.  Also when I initially bring up BTS (6.1) it states that it previously crashed and ask if I want to reset or continue.  I always choose to reset but eventually leads to the problem described above.
Any suggestions?  Thank you in advance...

General Discussion / Bitsharesblocks - statistics
« on: January 26, 2015, 08:22:51 pm »
On bitsharesblocks/charts/BTS-genesis...Why did the statistics section numbers change suddenly.  I've been looking at the same numbers for many days or even weeks and they were always the same and within the last couple of days numbers not only change but went up drastically.

Random Discussion / Economics explained
« on: January 21, 2015, 01:37:38 pm »
I just have to post this link Economics explained.  If the forum decides to post it in another category....no problem.  I've read all of BM's writing especially on economic theory but don't always grasp all of it.  I do need to study more...granted.  But in Economics explained I felt an intuitive grasp with absolutely no need for repeat reading.  Like to hear comments.  It really serves up the Bitshare economic philosophy.  http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2t5j4o/economics_explained/

Technical Support / BTS Wallet question
« on: December 30, 2014, 04:03:54 pm »
In the BTS Wallet I bought what I thought was BitUSD with some Bitshares.  However in my account balances it shows up as 20 USD not 20 BitUSD. Can someone explain please.  Thanks

Technical Support / BTS trading/security/wallet
« on: December 19, 2014, 04:56:46 am »
I traded BTC for BTS on Bter.  Should I or could I transfer the BTS into the BitShares Wallet for security purposes.  Some confusion here regarding the wallet and security.  Why would one hold BTS in a wallet while missing out on the advantages of holding on an exchange like Bter?
Thanks
