Payger - Payment + Messenger

WEBSITE · TWITTER · FACEBOOK

In 2017 the global Blockchain market cap grew over $700 billion USD and attracted millions of new users around the world. The leading exchanges Coinbase, Bitfinex and Bithumb struggled under the pressure of 200,000 new users per day and more pushing into the new digital economy. Drunk on the rush Coinbase´s mobile app even hit the number one at the Apple store just right before Christmas. So what comes next?

Once they get sober again they are shocked to realize that most crypto wallets on the market are poorly designed, complicated to use and not user-friendly for beginners at all. Transaction costs more than the minimum wage in America, transfers take hours and where can I spend my cryptos anyways?

We are a group of Blockchain enthusiasts located in Germany and our vision is to accelerate the transition to the blockchain based digital economy. Over the last months, we developed a new payment platform that leverages leading blockchains and will be a new home for your favourite crypto currencies.

It is called Payger.

Payger is the new payment platform for your favourite digital assets. We compared the leading payment systems today and started to combine the best features + designs and implemented the best technologies to develop Payger - the coin agnostic payment platform for your digital assets. Payger enables you to store, transfer and trade multiple digital assets and is providing global payment solutions for individuals and businesses.

The Payger platform consists of four main components:
- Payger Wallet – The browser wallet
- Payger App – Payment merged with messenger
- Payger API – Access to the Payger payment engine
- Payger Payment Engine – Blockchain based payment engine

Q2 2018 marks our first product launch of the Payger Wallet, that will target early adopter SMB and enterprises. The browser-based wallet will enable them to receive, exchange and transfer digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash and more in a user-friendly PayPal style interface.

In comparison to most other blockchain projects, we are not an R&D project. The Payger team combines senior executives, skilled software developers and blockchain enthusiasts with years of experience in banking, payments and AI technologies. We focus on using matured technologies and build on top of established blockchain ecosystems.

It is our goal to combine the best available technologies to provide a global real-time payment network, automate payment processes, reduce friction and settlement times resulting in lower costs across the whole value chain. In conclusion, Payger intends to become one of the leading PSP for blockchain-based payments and to complement or replace today´s market leaders such as Stripe, PayPal, Saxo Payment and Ant Financial.

Visit our website at Payger.com and sign up for our newsletter to learn more about our other exciting products to be released in 2018!

General Discussion / [vote] Upgrade Forum Software
« on: January 14, 2017, 05:09:12 pm »
Following the discussions in the last mumbles and the old threads by Bitsapphire I created a short summary of potential software we could use.

The idea is to streamline communication and improve the exchange between the different communities around the world. One of the goals was the to find a translation plugin, that will help us to talk better with the Chinese community. Further upgrading the forum software will send a strong signal that BitShares is active and improving.

What is wrong with the current forum?
Since Bitshapphire is not active anymore in the BitShares Community anymore, it would be better to have an active community member hosting the forum and be in charge of the maintenance. The goal is so to keep the forum 99% online.

Who could host it?
An active member of the BitShares community, let us discuss who could be suitable.

What are the current hosting costs?
50-60 Euro per month according to Bitsapphire

What happens with the current posts, ranks, and the old forum?
I found this guide for Discourse How to import Simple Machine to Discourse
We can probably import everything to the new forum and put the old posts in an archive.

Why now?
If not now, then never.

The two forums that would suit us the best:

1. Discourse http://www.discourse.org/
Demo: https://meta.discourse.org/

Plug-ins:

Very cool, Discourse also has a google translate plugin, which could help us to talk better with China.

2. NodeBB https://nodebb.org/
Demo: http://forum.expii.com/

Plug-ins:

3. Simple Machines Forum (currently used) www.simplemachines.org

3. Phpbb (currently used) https://www.phpbb.com
Demo: https://www.phpbb.com/community/index.php?sid=a6cdaea5cf2d304369d71e6952e76746

Happy voting and a good discussion!

ps.: My favorite is discourse

General Discussion / New Bitshares Dividend Idea
« on: January 13, 2017, 03:18:24 pm »
Dear BitShares community,

in today´s mumble (Episode #3) we came up with a new Dividend idea that should be discussed in the forum. This is just a rough idea, without any math, done yet.

Quote
[15:46] (Channel) ihashfury: BitShares are Shares - LTMs that hold BTS or Short BitAssets should get dividends

Today fee structure on BitShares:
80% for referral program
20% for BitShares reserve pool (pays witnesses and workers)

New fee structure on BitShares:
70% for referral program
10% for dividends
20% for BitShares reserve pool (pays witnesses and workers)

The idea is to collect 10% of the fees, pool them, and pay them out to all Lifetime members (LTM) that hold Bitshares. The dividends would be paid out according to the stake, and incentive users to buy Lifetime memberships.

Additional idea:
  • Pay the Dividends in BitAssets, like BitUSD
  • Big exchanges like Poloniex are excluded from the dividends
  • LTM Accounts that hold BTS and short BitAssets get dividend
  • Dividend fee is a variable fee, controlled by BitShares Committee

Critical feedback:
  • Affiliat payout will be reduced by 10%
  • How will exchanges react on this idea
  • How many fees are collected per day?
    Quote
[15:54] (Channel) EstefanTT_bis: Seems that we had this week 25k BTS fee accumulated
= 2,500 BTS Dividend paid out in total

What do you think about this idea?

Stakeholder Proposals / [Worker Proposal] New BitShares Core Dev
« on: January 11, 2017, 08:33:22 pm »
Dear BitShares Stakeholder,

We would like to introduce a new worker proposal that pays for a new BitShares core dev.

Please vote for Worker 1.14.49: Alfredo Garcia, Bitshares Core Dev

This Worker Proposal is for 6 months, and will include fixing Graphene Issues via github, and building the new features for the Bitshares platform and DEx that the community has been asking for.

Worker Details
  • Total Cost of hiring Alfredo: 3,261,671 BTS (~9600 USD at $20/hr)
  • This Proposed 6-month Worker will cost Bitshares 1,630,835 BTS (~4800 USD)
  • *BitShares Munich will pay the other half, ~4800 USD
  • Worker Lifetime: 6 months, (Jan 23 - Jul 23, 2017)
  • Working Hours: 20h per week
  • Worker focus on the 190 Github Issues, and new BitShares features from BitShares Roadmap

Quote
Note from Chris4210:
We are calculating with a stable BTS price of 0.0033 BTS/USD, including a small security buffer for BTS price, voting volatility, etc. The Worker funds will be paid to our BitShares Munich (bitshares-munich-devs) account, and we will manage the regular monthly payouts to Alfredo.

*BitShares Munich will be paying half of his salary (see above), since increasing the security of the Bitshares platform also increases the security of our products such as BlockPay.

Short bio about Alfredo
  • A professional programmer for over 10 years
  • Hacker forever, prefers free markets and voluntary interaction
  • Codes in pretty much any high level language like C++, C, etc.
  • High level experience also in php/mysql/javascript/python
  • Has been learning his way around Graphene and projects headed up by BitShares Munich such as BlockPay, Smartcoins Wallet, C-IPFS, Stealth, Echo, Bridges and Gateways.

The last 4 years Alfredo started working in the financial field making automated programs for Meta Trader, Ninja Trader, Calgo, Tradestation and other platforms. Then he moved a bit to binary options development, this is mainly Brokers that have web based API's so he started to make automated software that trade in binary options.

Most recently, he started to work with Bitcoin related projects. He started working for others at some online casinos and small projects but it was extremely hard to find serious people in the field. He has also worked for the Supernet "Iguana" project, helped them out quite a bit. Similar to the "Komodo" project.

Alfredo is under the supervision of, and reports daily to @kenCode at BitShares Munich.

Ken will post weekly updates in his usual thread here:
https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22576.0.html
and Alfredo’s commits can always be monitored here:

Technical Support / 2 out of 2 Multi Sign Problem.
« on: January 03, 2017, 06:45:17 pm »
I was testing the Multi-Sig function with two different accounts but ended up in a trap.

The accounts involved are:
A http://cryptofresh.com/u/tomorrowland
B http://cryptofresh.com/u/ticca2

Quote
The goal was that I need a signature from A + B for a transaction of account A

Account Details - A
Threshold 2
weight 1 Tomorrowland
weight 1 Ticca2

Problem Summary:

Quote
For any action Tomorrowland need the approval of ticca via approving a proposal (which is fine, no issue here). But the proposal also needs to be approved by Tomorrowland. This approval action of Tomorrowland required multisig approval from ticca which would mean another proposal from Tomorrowland which again Tomorrowland could not sign.

Mult Sig problem?
Quote
so is an auto sign from tomorrowland missing?

Chat protocoll:

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:25]
How can I agree to a proposed transaction in a multi sig? I get a "no ownership" error :/

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:26]
I have one account with 2 owners with 1 power each.  I am now trying to change it back to 1 owner, but i canot do it. any Idea?

Bhuz, [03.01.17 18:29]
What is the threshold?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:30]
2

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:30]
each owner key has 1

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:30]
Do you have both keys imported into your wallet?

Bhuz, [03.01.17 18:31]
You need both then

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:31]
no, I have one in the lightclient, one on ol

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:31]
I am training with multi sig

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:31]
so the 2 keys are in seperate wallets

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:32]
They are owner keys, not active keys right?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:32]
yes, owner

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:32]
I want to build a multi sig where 2 people have to sign a transaction of accoun a

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:33]
if i do treshhold 2 with active keys, I still can transfer with just one key

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:34]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
You should be able to propose a TX on one key and approve the proposal with the other key such as changing the threshold back to 1. IIRC there was a problem where you couldn't do TXs requiring active keys such as a transfer using owner keys.

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:37]
Failed to broadcast the transaction:
Missing Authority

Data Security Node, [03.01.17 18:37]
u sure the owner is there?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:37]
I get that error when I want to approve a proposed transaction to change the ownership treshold back to 1

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:38]
I tried both, a proposal from owner, and one from extern account

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:38]
both do not work

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:39]
I did not try to import the external account into the main wallet

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:39]
and then try it again

Jim, [03.01.17 18:39]
I think the issue here is the multisig account to does not have permission to approve a proposal (for which it is a signer) as it requires multisig approval from its partner to broadcast that approval

Jim, [03.01.17 18:40]
Can you share the name of the multisig account so we can look at the permissions?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:41]
sure

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:42]
http://cryptofresh.com/u/tomorrowland

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:42]
[In reply to Jim]
I think so too

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:42]
is it a design bug?

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:43]
What's ticca2? Do you have ticca2's active keys imported?

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:43]
Don't forget you need to approve your own proposal even if you were the one to propose it.

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:44]
So you need to approve from both ticca2 and your other key

BTSWolf, [03.01.17 18:44]
@ChristophHering will I be able to pay with blockpay at tomorrowland 2017?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:44]
I have ticca2 in a seperate wallet on the webwallet, tomorrowland is in a seperate wallet in lightclient

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:44]
:P You will get a pin to tomorrowland

BTSWolf, [03.01.17 18:44]
A pin?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:45]
In the movie, people get a pin as entry ticket

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:45]
here it would be a token

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:45]
I approved the proposal from ticca2, but I cannot from tomorowland. Here i get the error

Jim, [03.01.17 18:46]
Desifn wise. If the theroy above is corect. I think it could be resolved if the person broadcasting a proposal would automatically be an approved of said proposal. Then you could propose a proposal which could be approved by the multisig partner who would then approve the actual proposal. Best method I have found is to use 3 accounts where 1 is a the multisig savings account a d the other 2 are signers

BTSWolf, [03.01.17 18:46]
So this is not related to the tomorrowland festivals?

Jim, [03.01.17 18:46]
[In reply to BTSWolf]
Yes soon you can pay with blockpay anywhere :)

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:47]
mh, that will be the next test

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:48]
Check your permission tab, click on the public key and is there a "show a private key" label?

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:49]
from the original owner or from the external owner?

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:49]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
The one not owned by ticca2

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:49]
ok

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:51]
I can only see the private key from the orignal owner tomorrowland, I cannot see it from ticca the added owner

BTSWolf, [03.01.17 18:52]
[In reply to BTSWolf]
@ChristophHering

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:52]
[In reply to BTSWolf]
nope, but they might buy the account later? I would be open to sell ;D

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:52]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
If you can see the original owner private key when clicking on its public key, you shouldn't have any problems.

BTSWolf, [03.01.17 18:54]
Haha, should contact them, as far as I know they are already using their own currency on the festivals but still off-chain.

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:55]
will probably happen this year

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:55]
lets see, first we would need to get blockpay and the smartcoinswallet into a wristband

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:55]
[In reply to (Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz]
ok, so what should I do with the private key?

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 18:57]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
If it's shown, nothing it should just work

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:57]
mh

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:57]
I can import the account into the other wallet and see what happens

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 18:57]
but then I still have a problem how to construct a 2 way multi sig

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:02]
just short info, I put up a special thread for the bitshares mumble. You can find it here https://steemit.com/bitshares/@Chris4210/bitshares-hangout-2-1-6-17

Jim, [03.01.17 19:06]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
I setup some test accounts with the same multisig as you to see if I could resolve the issue by importing keys.  But I cannot import my privates keys into OL. Maybe you could try and confirm

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:07]
mh even after I imported ticca2 into the same wallet as tomorrowland, I still cannot confirm the proposed transaction...

Jim, [03.01.17 19:08]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
Sounds like you import was successful the  :( wtf is going on with my browser

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:08]
importing private key is the easiest

Jim, [03.01.17 19:08]
Can you see the private keys of ticca in the Tomorrowland account (little key icon) in permissions?

Jim, [03.01.17 19:09]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
I just have a rolling open ledger symbol restore was fine then I click import keys and the wheels just keep turn ing

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:11]
[In reply to Jim]
I can see the private owner keys, but not the private active keys. strange

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:11]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
But they are both the same right?

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:12]
Also public keys =/= private keys

Jim, [03.01.17 19:12]
Active and owner are different. You could import the active as well for fun. I still think we'll will be in the same issue but wanted to see if there was a way out

Jim, [03.01.17 19:14]
[In reply to (Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz]
If the private keys are not imported he should not see the key icon yes? I think he has imported the owner private key of ticca into Tomorrowland.  Just not the active key

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:14]
[In reply to Jim]
Ah you are right, his owner and active keys are different

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:14]
[In reply to Jim]
correct

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:14]
[In reply to Jim]
Yup

Jim, [03.01.17 19:15]
Might as well import the active key as well

Jim, [03.01.17 19:15]
Best case if we get this working all we will do is reduce threshold to 1 and then start again.. with 3 axcounts

Jim, [03.01.17 19:16]
Wish I could play too :(

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:16]
let me see what happens

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:17]
http://cryptofresh.com/p/1.10.958

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:17]
here is the proposal

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:17]
maybe we get an idea here

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:18]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
You have not approved the proposal with either ticca2 or with the other keys

Jim, [03.01.17 19:19]
I am looking in the wallet and ticca has approved

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:19]
I have with ticca2, but i cannot with tomorrowland

Jim, [03.01.17 19:19]
Maybe cryptofresh takes time to update

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:20]
[In reply to Jim]
Hmm maybe, I trust you :P

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:20]
Also when I try to make a 2nd proposal with tomorrowland to approve the  1nd proposal, I get an error.

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:20]
its really a trap haha

(Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz, [03.01.17 19:21]
Wait you don't make a second proposal, you just approve and choose the correct key

Jim, [03.01.17 19:21]
Can you propose an approval? - I think the problem will still exist as the proposal will still need to be approve and the account does not have authority to broadcast ot

Jim, [03.01.17 19:21]
Sorry slow msg

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:21]
[In reply to (Valentin | Lin9uxis) from Devling.xyz]
thats the problem, I cannot approve the 1nd proposal :/

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:22]
I cannot even add a 3 owner key with a 2 threshold power because i need aproval for that too lol

Jim, [03.01.17 19:22]
[In reply to BlockPay - Christoph Hering]
Yes

Jim, [03.01.17 19:23]
When I did my test I found the same trap but because I didn't multisig the owners I could just back out and try again

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:24]
maybe fabian has an idea when he is back, he is at a meetup tng

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:24]
Maybe it would be also helpful to set up a small warning for this problem. So that other people can read about that problem.

Jim, [03.01.17 19:27]
For any action Tomorrowland need the approval of ticca via approving a proposal (which is fine, no issue here). But the proposal also needs to be approved by Tomorrowland. This approval action of Tomorrowland required multisig approval from ticca which would mean another proposal from Tomorrowland which again Tomorrowland could not sign

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:27]
correct

BlockPay - Christoph Hering, [03.01.17 19:28]
so is an auto sign from tomorrowland missing? @xeroc

Any ideas how can I  out of the trap? How can I separate these two accounts again?

Dear OPENPOS supporters,

Rodrigo, Ken and I want to thank you personally for your early support and your trust in our vision. Thanks to you, we were able to build this new company from the ground and have developed several products for the Bitshares, Steem and Blockchain communities. We definitely would not stand here without your early Support.

Since Christmas 2015 we were able to build:

- BitShares Wallet for Android
- BitShares Wallet for iOS (was denied by Apple (just like Mycelium), but code is on github)
- Smartcoins Wallet for Android
- BlockPay “S”
- BlockPay for Odoo

We are now starting our Pre-ICO with “BLOCKPAY” tokens and plan to use the funds for the following:

1. Launch of BlockPay “S” in Google Play and BlockPay for Odoo
2. Additional BlockPay integrations into leading Point Of Sale systems
3. Development of BlockPay API
4. Adding more Fiat Gateways, Exchanges and Escrow Services
5. Development and introduction of Stealth transfers
6. Development and launch of ECHO for Android and iOS
7. Development of native iOS BlockPay “S”
8. Adding new features to BlockPay and ECHO
9. Building Digital Payment Infrastructure for the Future

What does that mean for OPENPOS holders?
We offer all current OPENPOS holders the unique opportunity to exchange their tokens 1:1.20, starting August 20th. We will buy back 100 OPENPOS for 120 BLOCKPAY, and  If you invested early on, you tripled your investment since Christmas.

We are going to invest more than 600,000 BLOCKPAY tokens to buy back the old OPENPOS tokens and give you all a 3 day prior early bird access. Rodrigo, Ken and I are looking forward to your future support and we can't wait to deliver BlockPay, Echo and Stealth over the next few months for you.

Thank you all for your great support! Let us build a new rising star in the Blockchain Industry together!

Yours sincerely, Christoph Hering

CEO & Co-Founder of BitShares Munich

Connecting different merchants, whales, bankers, traders and individuals together on one public ledger raises privacy concerns. How can you, as a business, prevent blockchain espionage of your competitors? A lot of companies are afraid their competitors could analyze their daily sales volume, metadata, consumer behavior or daily turnover in every store. This would be an extremely competitive advantage! They now have to choose between a public ledger or a private ledger. We would prefer to offer them the third option, a public ledger that keeps their accounts and amounts undetectable.

Stealth Transactions gives anybody 100% privacy on a public ledger. Every balance and transaction is verified by the Blockchain but not traceable with a Blockchain Explorer.

Read the official announcement about Stealth transactions.. You will love the ultimate in privacy.

All remaining “BlockPay” tokens will be locked away in a dedicated reserve fund created by OpendLedger/CCEDK (they are acting as our escrow partner) and used in a 2nd Crowdfunding expected to take place in 2017. We have discussed all kinds of privacy issues over the past months and how we could possibly add more privacy to the Bitshares platform. Since we are using a friendly naming system on the Bitshares platform, sending money to somebody just requires a Bitshares username. This easy ID System has just one problem with a public blockchain ledger. A lot of people registered with their forum names or even real names and realized that their wallets and actions are all open to everyone.

The problem is that once you know someone's username, you can easily look up his balance, read his past transactions or even add them to your favorite accounts in your wallet and watch their every move. As much as we value transparency, we also value privacy and that's why we at BitShares Munich think this is a necessary addition to the Bitshares platform.

We are proposing to continue the development of the Stealth smart contract (beyond Blinded Transfers) which will be used to facilitate total anonymity and untraceability of the sending/receiving accounts and amounts. We will pick up the previous development and finish the GUI and automated backup features plus adding Stealth Accounts and Contacts to our Smartcoins Wallet for Android.

Quote
”Stealth Transfer helps set Bitshares apart from most other crypto currencies and offers tremendous value to the users who are most interested in privacy, liberty, and freedom.” - Bytemaster

In his first proposal, Bytemaster delivered most of the Stealth feature code but he was unable to complete the backup features and an easy implementation into the Bitshares interface. The basic Stealth transactions work today, but they have not been integrated and are only accessible with the cli-wallet. There are also concerns about, how to provide an easy access to the features in the interface. One mistake and the funds would be forever lost on the Blockchain.
BM had a solution but it would require users to backup their wallets to a centralized server (controlled by a person or web hosting company) where you could then redeem your backup wallet file in case your Stealth transaction failed. Due to the unpredictable liability issues, it was decided to postpone true Stealth transactions into the future.

“STEALTH” has now been set up as a Fee-Backed Asset (FBA) and was initially paid for by @onceuponatime. Since the project could not be finished as expected, Bytemaster agreed to pay back onceuponatime and cover the losses by himself. We at BitShares Munich will get the Stealth software finished, tested, security audited by multiple outside sources, approved by the community and launched asap.

- Develop a simple Wallet UI that allows management of Stealth Accounts/Contacts. Stealth Accounts/Contacts are just labeled private keys.
- Add automated backups via (very lightweight) IPFS
- Easy funds recovery method in case you lost your “transfer receipt”
- Add total anonymity and untraceability as Accounts and Contacts
- Users can store funds in public or Stealth Accounts - Whales and large retail/grocery/restaurant chains are demanding privacy too!
- Users can send/receive funds to/from public or Stealth Contacts
- Attract traders, HNWI, and corporates who value privacy and want to avoid competitors’ espionage

Users will be able to monitor their Stealth balances and take the following actions:

1. Transfer from public account to their own Stealth balance
2. Transfer from one of their Stealth accounts to one of their Stealth contacts
3. Transfer from one of their Stealth accounts to any public account
4. Register a new account using a Stealth balance
5. Receive a Stealth transfer from a 3rd party given a transfer receipt

BitShares Munich IVS is fully registered in Denmark and an independent software development company for the Bitshares Platform. We are passionate Blockchain enthusiasts and want to provide easy to use software for everyone. We are developing a broad range of products for the Bitshares ecosystem and we’ve learned that some of our services require additional privacy features. In our negotiations, we continuously had to answer the question about data security, who owns the data and how transparent are transaction data on an open Blockchain ledger. Here is a little overview of what we do.

BitShares Munich finished, and developing projects:

- First Bitshares Mobile Wallet (Android and iOS)
- Smartcoins Wallet - native Android
- BlockPay “S” (Graphene Blockchain-based Standalone Point Of Sale), native Android
- BlockPay Integrated (Odoo was the first, many more on the way)
- ECHO - Decentralized and encrypted Voice, Video, Social messenger and Wallet all-in-one App for iOS and Android

Here are our products:

ECHO

Here are some videos:

We want to develop Stealth because we think it will benefit the Bitshares platform in the long term. We are currently talking to the different grocery chain, retail partners, and individuals who prefer privacy when upgrading to blockchain based systems. Supermarket chains have stated that they would love to utilize our BlockPay integrated solution as a new alternative payment method but are hesitating due to their transactions popping up on the public block explorers. They are afraid their competitors could analyze their daily sales volume, metadata, consumer behavior or daily turnover in every store. This would be an extreme competitive advantage! They now have to choose between a public ledger or a private ledger. We would like to offer them the third option, a public ledger that can keep their accounts and amounts undetectable.

It is our goal to build the world’s #1 global payment network (B2B, B2C, C2C, C2B) and we are convinced that Stealth transfer smartcontracts will help us to add even more industry partners, traders, and HNWI to the Bitshares platform.

Bitshares Stealth feature will be developed by BitShares Munich and we are preparing the groundwork for a future crowd funding. Stealth will give you the power to transfer funds on a Blockchain, invisible details to any blockchain explorer. This feature will give you a real alternative and you will have the freedom to choose between transparency and total privacy!!

Our roadmap is:

1.Get up to speed on what code is done so far
2.Finish R&D of final choices for ring sigs, mixer, IP masking and related
3.Fork existing, setup testnet, work on graphene-ui first
4.Modularize/min libs so they can be used by our wallets
5.Feature freeze
6.Begin beta testing, Security Audits, final bug fixes or UI tweaks
7.Launch update to graphene-ui
8.Integrate with native-android Smartcoins Wallet
9.Begin beta testing, Security Audits, final bugs fixes or UI tweaks
10.Launch update to Bitshares Blockchain

This Bitshares feature will be developed by BitShares Munich IVS.
