like i already wrote, they use different communication protocols...
So we agree, what's the problem ?

there's no point in any caches if the amount of used ram is far too much to check/build/set/move/erase with every iteration of protoshares' mining calculation
and that's what i mean by bottleneck

La wallet n'est pas faite pour miner. N'utilise que les pools.

It's obvious to me.. but better askingI've actually got lower performance by using the 1024mb option over the 512mb option. No idea why - there doesn't seem to be any clear correlation to me..
It is because you are above your max RAM amount so your system is using cache to balance.

when i used ptsminer_v07b_x64 in this topic with ptsweb.beeeeer.org -> ~170c/m.
I tried to configure jhprotominer-yvg1900-M7h with ptsweb.beeeeer.org, but i got the message " can't connect to "
anyone know how to make jhprotominer-yvg1900-M7h work with beeeeeer.org ?
It is possible that the two miners have different calculation of the collisions. What matter is how much ProtoShares you get in 24 hours.

my first try with my 4 Opterons :
- AMD Opteron 6164 HE 70c/m ~24 hours of use
12 thread and 256 MB per thread
That's 280c/m in total. Gonna try different settings and overclock soon.

Calculate from collision per minutes will not tell you how many ProtoShares you get per month, you better mine on a pool for 24 hours and calculate from it how much protoshare you get per hour / per day / per month. Then from the price of 1 protoshare, you have an idea of how much per month.
