If he lives in the US I hope his story checks out because if not then he could be facing some pretty serious federal charges but it all depends on how this plays out in the next couple of days. I find it hard to believe that anyone could be so incompetent on purpose, I suspect that whoever gained access to his account did so to make it look like he had been hacked. If he fails to provide us with any evidence to support his claims digitalocean should be able to.

Sorry but this makes not a good picture of your project for me. First of all this posting is telling everything:

Even at hour wage for a competent gpu programmer that's a slave's pay - but if someone were to make this he could make way more just by mining
That can not be possible that you act like a newb in the business, with so much coins in the game -.-

Since Observing this launch I have come to the conclusion that the ideal proof of work should be GPU friendly but not ASIC Friendly.

I have also concluded that  rapid issuance of the money supply is a good thing    Because it reduces the time period during which ASIC can be developed  at extreme profit.

Just trying to do our best.

This, GPU's will curb those operating botnets/access to large data centers.

Seems like it yes. At the moment it's hard to mine. Got 2 PTS around midnight for around 13 hours mining in beer's pool.

Got 5 computers running. 2 amd fx 8350 and 3 I5-3570.
What hashrate are you getting with that 8350?

Fuck ypool amirite? Looks like their pool is down again. We need a pool ran by ppl we can trust ie not Grom and others like rpool.

Back when ltc became "big" every pool was under frequent attack, that's just the way it is - what we need is ONE miner that can do failover to another pool...
What we need is a failover pool that can mine as fast you can with ypool. Currently with beeeeer I'm only at 60 col/m compared to 120/m with ypool :(
