We are currently undergoing a pivot for one of our businesses and are therefore looking for a new co-founder from Ethereum to come on board to manage the business and the day to day operations together with us.

About the business:
  • Currently a gateway for Bitcoin and Nxt
  • Pivot into an Asset Manager for Nxt, Ethereum and Bitshares asesets
  • Website is fully operational
  • We already have bank accounts, payment processors (including a credit card processor on board) and the KYC/AML part worked out

What we are looking for:
  • Expertise in managing such a business and running day to day operations
  • Experience in marketing/advertising and user retention
  • Willing to put in the effort to make this a huge success

If you think you have what it takes please contact me to discuss this in detail :) You will be well compensated for your work with equity.

General Discussion / Re: C-CEX exchange
« on: March 02, 2015, 07:35:27 pm »
WE SHOULD PROMOTE c-cex.com !!!!! I advised this several times!!!
Ronny Boesing CEO contacted us several times ..
We should get more volume on c-cex!
My 2 cents ..

Ronny is the CEO of ccedk btw, C-Cex is something different.

My view: Seems like a good product. No info about the Company/People behind it though and the fees for Deposits/Witdhrawals seems rather high. But better than nothing for sure.

I don't see Isle of Man as a major Crypto Hub in the future. Other jurisdictions hold a much higher potential as a strong and powerful driving force of this space.

Why worry about what they are doing?

Users aren't a scarce resource right now. Finite yes because attention is finite, but you can attract attention by making your product more fun.

You don't need to worry about what other platforms do as long as your platform has it's own attractive content.

Users are definitely not scarce resources - but it depends on who you are and how you attract them (or know how to attract them).

I've searched the forums a bit, but I did not see any fundraiser or announcement after Domsch last post mentioning he would come back on this. This only adds to my confusion about what actually happened here.

Even if they explain to us what happened, it can not change the fact that they don't showed respect to the community, to us ... I really Hope that the nxt community will not experience an identical behavior in the future...

I show immense respect to this community and I've met a lot of great people here. Various circumstances have required us to move to another community so that we can even start the project, so I'm not being disrespectful to the BTS community. I'm trying to set-up my business without wasting a lot of time and continuing the waiting game.

Why is Charles Hoskinson telling people not to work with us anyway?  Nxt took donations and based their initial distribution off it just like AGS (for less money, but doesn't seem to be anything legally different.)

He is definitely not doing that. Charles is a good friend and he had helped us tremendously in Switzerland and was very supportive. This decision on helping Nxt out was a reason which I have decided upon myself with no "outside" influence. It was simply not possible for us to operate with our current strategy, so we had to revise and slightly change direction for us to even get off the ground.

And to clear this, yes I am acting out of my own interest and selfish reasons. I want Bithaus to succeed in any way possible, we have a lot planned for the long-term, but for now, it is my duty to solve the short-term, have our legal foundation set-up to expand our team and our products rapidly.

Nevertheless in light of the recent calamities I'm not sure that the requirement of not blinking an eye before throwing money at something is the most prudent requirement for investing. Don't take this the wrong way Domsch, but I sure do hope people do more than just not winking, if I'm not mistaken due diligence supposedly requires lots of blinking. Frugality amongst nxt-ers might also not be the very best of typecasts.

"without blinking an eye" was the wrong idiom in this context. What I'm stating is that from the bottom to the top the Nxt community was very supportive and even though it took some time (roughly 2 weeks) to raise the money, it went through with them. By no means would I want someone to invest in this without even reading our business/marketing plans and thoroughly thinking of it/asking lots of questions (which all of them did). But what I'm stating is that we were not able to raise these funds within the BTS community, and the bounties we were going for were suddenly not able for grabs anymore.

I have a team of 6 guys - some of whom have kids. So I'm not here to be in a waiting game and hope for a brighter future that we may or may not get funds. That's why I approached the Nxt community and luckily, we were able to raise the sum we intended to get and can move forward now :)

I'm not turning my back to the community as I met some amazing people here, but as I said in my first post, I'm looking for a community (and a management team of a crypto-project) that supports us and helps us in any way they can - I was able to find that in the Nxt community.

If you have any questions, just ask me or send me a PM.

FYI:

https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/bithaus-the-very-first-nxt-fiat-exchange-is-near!/40/

One of the more interesting quotes:

"In fact Bitshares was VERY excited about funding and working with Bithaus. This can be verified independently by looking at the posthistory over at bitshares websites.

*However* BitsharesX IPO is risky business and might land them in hot water with SEC, so Bithaus decided to pull out since they are a serious business and don't want to be tangled up in a legal mess.

I know Charles of Ethereum warned Bithaus of this personally aswell as Dominik consulting with his lawyers about it."

We are an independent company that creates solutions for all crypto-currencies - this is the first project we are launching. I want to work with the community and the people behind a project that show the greatest support towards my endeavor. I have several reasons to why I approached the Nxt community but I don't think that they ought to be discussed here.

I am very impressed on the reaction of the Nxt community and their ability to sit down and invest money in such an important project without blinking an eye.

Max Keiser:  I've already been working on trying to get Dan on Keiser's show for a few months now.  Its not easy to get ahold of Keiser and although Ethereum got on the show, I think in general Keiser's people had a hard time understanding Ethereum and perhaps for that reason aren't interested in any other next gen crytpto technologies like bitshares.  We're still working on several angles to get an interview on Keiser's show.

Actually that's not true at all. Max and Stacy love Ethereum and the bitcoin 2.0 space as a whole. Don't blame your inability to procure interviews on the knowledge of the interviewers. Great projects make the news not ask to be on it.

Very easy to get on big media outlets run by big money when you have "ex" "low level" Goldman Sachs advisers bro..  It isn't the people, but the network to which they connect.

A Hoskinson quote:  "Ether will be like Oil to bitcoin's Gold."  ---hmmmm sound at all like the petro-dollar scheme?  It does to me...

Here are two images of the same pyramid structure are associated with the secret society(s) behind the petro-dollar:

Can I be wrong about allllll of this?  Yes...and I'd love to be.  I would love a place where all these 2.0 techs work together to create something that benefits the investors in their construction and uplifts all of humanity while giving no central authority to anyone without them first competing against each other for it.  But the things that turn me off about Ethereum are all little and add up to something else behind the scenes...

As always, prove me wrong so I can say I'm wrong...and start with getting rid of "specialized ASICs" that breed patent monopolies and long-term barriers to entry at the "currency creation" level.

In the future, I suggest you to refrain from posting such bullshit. You are making yourself look silly and your hostile position against Ethereum does not help to further your dreams of " I would love a place where all these 2.0 techs work together". Exactly because of people like you all of these community-wars evolved that help us in no way and are a huge waste of resources.
Get your facts straight and start to perceive things more objectively. Instead of tying your opinions to very subjective matter (such as personal investment) and ridiculous conspiracy theories, actually become part of other communities and understand what their intentions are. Only through this way we can hope that some of these amazing 2.0 teams work together on not just returning an investment to its investors, but in actually creating a system that appeals to the 7 Billion around us. But if people keep going on with the same bullshit of "no, we are better!" we are getting nowhere and the dream of a better world vanishes.

Fully agree with Nikolai.

Still taking applications?  Just submitted and would really like to take a look at the exchange and help out however I can.

Yes we are definitely open for new applicants. Right now we are doing all the invites in batches in order to keep the size of all the invite/skype groups down to a minimum and make it easier for us to manage the opinions, ideas and suggestions from these people. You should expect to receive an invite within the next 2 - 4 days though :)

Will we eventually be able to link bank accounts to buy PTS?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

After the beta users across the globe will be able to deposit their Fiat currency and convert it into Bitshares. We have been working on the legality now for the past 2 months and we are about to get an amazing banking partner on board :)

Our goal is it to assist people with the transition from centralized systems to the decentralized world. This Fiat exchange for Bitshares, Protoshares is just the beginning and will add a tremendous amount of liquidity to the markets. We have a lot more projects planned so there is a lot to come that will benefit everyone involved - especially future, upcoming DAC's.

We have started invited the first 15 members to the website.

The next batch of invited will be sent this evening.

does this exchange belong to 3I?

We are an independent Startup that is not related to I3.

We have offered our help a long time ago. I'll get in contact again in regards to this.

Because there were so many applications for beta we have decided to increase the amount of beta testers to 60 people! We will send out the invited to the chosen people tomorrow.
