BitShares PTS / Re: 6180 shares on ypool for 1 PTS
« on: December 30, 2013, 05:40:42 am »
There's no definite relation between shares and reward.
Sometimes the pool need 1,000,000 shares to find a block,
and sometimes only 10,000 shares can find a block.
So it's the percentage of your shares during a block that decides your reward.
Since ypool has so many workers, you may have lower percentage.
But it's block time is really fast. So it's hard to say whether it's normal or not.

Feel free to donate me.

Did you install boost ? doesn't seem so
Only 'uuid' is missing, so I feel strange.

ls /usr/lib64/libboost_*.so
/usr/lib64/libboost_date_time-mt.so   /usr/lib64/libboost_math_tr1f-mt.so         /usr/lib64/libboost_serialization-mt.so

For me, it's a strange error on centos 6.x:
Code: [Select]
main_poolminer.cpp:19:31: warning: boost/uuid/sha1.hpp: No such file or directory
main_poolminer.cpp: In function ‘int main(int, char**)’:
main_poolminer.cpp:626: error: ‘boost::uuids’ has not been declared
main_poolminer.cpp:626: error: expected ‘;’ before ‘sha’
main_poolminer.cpp:627: error: ‘sha’ was not declared in this scope
make: *** [obj/main_poolminer.o] Error 1
Can anyone help?

If so many person doubt its safety, you have to think more before put out a new method, instead of explaining so much.
Just some complains.

I find this, too.
It seems that rpool is not using a standard PPS fee algo, or just the delay cause that.
hm, beeeeer is down now. Not so many choose for now...

Since I like the ptsminer very much.
I modified very few code to make it useful in rpool. Maybe later I will fork a branch on github.

Is there anybody need it?

Hi, I'm mining on beeeer now.
I have another machine without Internet.
I want to use proxy for it. Does PTSminer offer this option?

Similar to this option for minerd:
-x, --proxy=[PROTOCOL://]HOST[:PORT]  connect through a proxy

Thank you very much!

BitShares PTS / Re: About PTSPool's miner
« on: November 24, 2013, 06:06:29 am »
I think ptspool stole beeers miner. So the beeeer guy put specific port and ip into his code.  Likely you could just edit that part of the code, and recompile for pts pool.

Perhaps so.
Thank u!
