General Discussion / Re: Exchange all BTC for PTS - what would you do?
« on: December 23, 2013, 01:19:47 pm »
If I put 100% of my investment into a single coin would be sweating bullets all day long.

Then bitcoin or litecoin would go up to some crazy, never imagined before height while proto's went under, or vice versa - and my suicide would be so spectacular it might make front page news.

But this way if I "lose money" by spreading my investment out so that 1 outperforms the other I can just write it off to being cautious and having a balanced portfolio. Also helps justify wasting more time cruising the various forums.

These are high risk investments for a reason. The possibility to make a 8,000-14,000 % profit in a single year isn't without some serious risks and headache.

I'm now on day 3 of trying to get this client to Sync. Really don't like leaving money on Cryptsy and have to say, this isn't going to have a good effect on newcomers when the wallet not syncing has been a major issue since launch.

Now that the price has jumped to around $20 per share hopefully a functional wallet will be doable.

I've gone through and added every node listed in the sticked section, tried on different computers, disabled my firewall, forwarded ports, turned on UPNP to the Router. Nothing. Has me concerned.

Was about to install a portable Ubuntu but then saw all the threads where they were having the problem on there and Mac OS too.
