« on: September 01, 2016, 03:37:11 am »
Hello,

I need the BitShares 0.9.3 blochain to migrate to BitShares 2.0 like it's explained here :
http://docs.bitshares.eu/migration/legacy-blockchain.html
but there is nobody seeding the torrent.

Anyone out there have it and can seed plz ?
Or if you have a download link.

General Discussion / tray icon Bug under unity ubuntu
« on: September 04, 2014, 04:13:29 am »
Under Unity,
The tray icon is not displayed in the systray.

Please use this solution (or disable tray icon under unity)
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17193307/qt-systray-icon-appears-next-to-launcher-on-ubuntu-instead-of-on-the-panel

in bitsharesx/programs/qt_wallet/MainWindow.cpp
MainWindow::setupTrayIcon()

Please list my block explorer, it is more reliable than coinplorer, and more obvious than agrean!

http://mmcexplorer.info/

I have been (and still am) working very hard on it.

Great guide though.

Hey KillerByte do you block the back ( firefox button ) on a transaction listing ?

On linux MMC electrum is installed as "electrum" command line.
So it seams that it will interfere with the original bitcoin electrum !?
( althoug the wallet is safe since it is named ending with MMC )

How about rename it ?

On ubuntu I had a problem about : "Error: Could not import icons_rc.py, please generate it with: 'pyrcc4 icons.qrc -o gui/qt/icons_rc.py'"
So I had to create it and relaunch the setup install.

Here is how to do it :
You may have to install python-qt4 and pip:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install python-qt4 python-pip
cd to the directory where you unzipped the https://github.com/KillerByte/electrum/archive/master.zip
Code: [Select]
pyrcc4 icons.qrc -o gui/qt/icons_rc.py
sudo python setup.py install

Then type electrum to run it

Why would you want to pay them in BTC ?
It's point less.
The point is to have them accept MMC !

General Discussion / Re: Exchange between BTS and USD
« on: March 04, 2014, 03:48:16 am »
Nice idea.
But the part where someone will have to lose even more BTS to punish the other non paying party might not work, because you don't what to lose even more.
Of course if it's small amount, you will consider paying it, just to punish the bad guy.
But then again, a bad guy could threaten to destroy the money in exchange for a bounty.

Anyway since it'll be optional, this is an idea worth implementing !

Officer should make a bounty for open sourcing a pool and an efficient miner, right now.
