I did a lot more than that, yestarday with a Hd7950 and a Hd 7870 made 1.10 Pts in 24H but since then just made 0.4, i think the pool lost hash rate and with that the ability to find blocks, i could be wrong but that seems to be the issue...
Yeah, I think people are dropping off and it's taking forever to solve blocks. Mine dropped too, had a little over 2100 cpm and now making squat. This is fading fast and not worth the electricity. It's a bummer, really wanted to see GPUs help rebalance the pools.

GPU mining will take some time to sort out, still very early in the PTS GPU game...  I have no way of measuring electricity however these pts miners seem to load the gpu's a lot less compared with scrypt.

Yes they do, but still, right now doesn´t pay to mine here with the Gpu there are altcoins right now giving much more profitability. i actually would stay if i could make +- 1Pts a day but 0.4 it´s way low.
But this miner is way mor Gpu friendly than Cgminer my temps wouldn´t go above 51º and now with Cgminer temps are touching 70º

Well it´s been a great couple of days, but it seem´s we just run out of luck and hashrate :( time to go back to doggy, but i´ll be back once we start finding more blocks again, right now i´m just wasting eletricity, still i made some small profit in this last 2 day, if the pool keeps atracting more hash power theres no reason not to be profitable.

I sincerely hope you guys can keep this going

Best regards

Not sure about how much hash power ypool has but, either we start finding more blocks or i´m about to jump ship :) last 12H were a disgrace

Sorry my mistake cgminer uses that not pts-miner you should have a Pts-miner.bat (not .exe) and you have to put like this pts-miner.exe (wallet address) 0-0
And then you create other files with the same line but 0-1 and 0-2 and you run those files not Pts-miner.exe

I see, will try now. thx.

I find 3 separate instances makes the pc unusable. 2 instances seems to get less than 1 instances... but still testing...

fyi - I am getting about 2350 cpm with 3 x 7950's.
not sure if that's good or bad.

any api access, or way to monitor GPU temperatures?

how long to register shares on the mining pool? not seeing anything beyond my cpm yet.

thx!

They should be doing about 1000 Cpm each at least mine is, you also should have 3 instancies of the miner running one for each card.
You see shares when we actually find a block, wich doesn´t append very frequently but in the end pays out at least up to now i think it pays.

You need to create more pts-miner.bat files to run with the several Gpu´s and edit them so each one of them runs with one card, after you put your payment adress and password you set 0-0 in one file 0-1 in the other and 0-3.
I hope you were able to understand, sometimes explaining something in another languague gets kind of hard.

How is that possible? My 7870 only does 650 CPM.

Because they are dual gpu cards, and my two 6970s get around 2.3k so he's not lying.

Or the miner is not optimized to work with GCN design, those hash seem to be way too high compared to the new generation cards, even with dual gpu shouldn't be such a huge diference ...

Well if the rig was off then you can´t actually complain  :D

Well my hd 7950 is a beast she does 1180Mhz core clock witch likely puts close or ahead of a stock Hd7970 but most certainly there´s something wrong with your config, just not certain of what could be drivers?!

Also what´s your power supply?

I´m submitting much more shares per block than you so something most likely is wrong with your Gpu´s in my opinon but i´m kind of new to this, the experts should have a much better opinion.

Are you running them with overclock?
If so could be the issue.
Also what drivers are you using?
With Cgminer it easy to identify Hw issues it shows Hw errors, i´m not sure if there´s a way to see that with Pts-miner.

Also you should be running 2 instancies of pts-miner, but you probably already are otherwise your hash rate would lower.

You should try tunning your cards, my hd 7870 actually works better for mining if i downclock the 940Mhz and increase memory to 1250Mhz.

Most defenitly something is wrong, rejection rate?

My Hd7950 is giving me 1060Cpm and Hd7870 633Cpm after a litle time tweaking the cards

So my hash rate is inferior to yours, but do you mine 24H without interruptions?

Are your cards overclocked? could they be causing shares to be rejected? in the end this is all about accepted shares you can have 4 times my hash rate if you have to much rejected shares you won´t make as much as i do...

Also are you mining with the gpu´s & Cpu?

I´m running  2 Gpu´s HD7950 & HD 7870 made +-1Pts in 24H calculater indicated 0.6pts, after paying for eletricity i estimate about 8€ profit, but the issue is that seems this is much about luck if we keep finding blocks and the price keeps holding, then yes it´s profitable, but if we run out off luck or the price drops then there goes the profitability, then again this applys to all altcoins..

We´ve spend 5H without finding a block and suddenly we found 2 blocks well, if we did found blocks with the rate ypool finds most certainly this would be a much profitable week, then again price would most likely take fall.

Also it seems to me that the hash rate is going down, the big guns seems to be jumping ship wich most likely will hurt even more our ability to find new blocks, or not and in that case the reward will be greater

Anyway i will keep mining at least more 24/48H just to see what happens, the other altcoins doesn´t exactly offer much more profit right now compared to litecoin, and with all the issues that are occuring with altcoins minor pools, i will probably lose more if i jump to another coin at this time.
Last couple of weeks i really don´t find mining to be profitable too many people mining altcoins it´s hard to remain mining a coin that stays profitable for more than 24H.

Even with dogecoin that appears to be the most profitable in the last few weeks, my results aren´t much better than if i was mining litecoin, so i guess i will stay with protoshares at least while it´s giving some profit.

Also tried multipool and it´s even a bigger crap then mining altcoins directly

Well i agree the profit is not great, but for the last 24H i made 2x as much in pts than the calculater indicates, and it seems more profitable then most other altcoins.

There´s one thing i really enjoy about this Gpu client, it doesn´t mesltsdown my gpu´s :)

And i actually can use the pc while is mining

Still appears that the pool is lacking luck, i´m kind off new to all this. Butt is this rate off finding block what we should expect in the future or it´s possible to improve?

And when i went today to the pool site, i got the feeling the hash power was leaving, at least the big guns weren´t there today...
