« on: February 17, 2015, 05:05:40 pm »
Hi I downloaded a bts wallet and bought a few thousand coins on bter I tried 3 times to send coin to my public address, but none of them arrived in wallet! I just want to know where I have gone wrong as I haven't had this problem with any of the other wallets I use! I have tried registering using the faucet nothing happened so I tried again and it said name has been taken but I dont know if it is me who took it or not?  :-\

Is your BitShares wallet synced?

ah I never saw the righ hand corner until I went full screen, I installed it 3 days ago and I still have 137days left, good job Im not in a rush, but cheers for that patience isnt my strongest point  ;)

hi I am mining pts I dont have many but I have some and thats what counts. Thing is Im seriously confused I saw the thread stating to take pts from exchanges and deposit them in the wallet by 28th feb I did that part and nothing happened I have checked using the balance tool found on here, but what its telling me I have no Idea! this is my data I pulled from it PuBndJybB31u2jZkmFtDMbDDFancX7HieP",4660865863
PioBYRaAxfDjrzj4pFWVJi7bsjeRLe4Ynh",2318211
so what does it mean this cant be the amount of shares and also what am I supposed to do with the information please keep it simple as abit of brain damage left me thicker than before, and I was never a straight "A" student before lol
cheers in advance

BitShares PTS / collisions/min rate? Can I get any more from my pc?
« on: January 25, 2014, 08:02:29 pm »
Hi I used to mine quark so got used to kh/s so now collisions/min what sort of speeds should I be looking at, I have a 8 core AMD fx 8120 and 8 gig ram and Im getting 157.6300 (ish) and wondered how this stacks up against similar sort of set up? I have the default miner from ypool.net I have the -t8 -m512 as suggested in my .bat file is there any other info that I could add to the file or is there a better miner (one thats easy to set up!) PS does the min stand for minute or am I way out lol cheers

Technical Support / cant get my miner to work ypool.net [solved]
« on: January 21, 2014, 02:20:34 pm »
Hi I am trying to set up my miner it all semt straight forward but after editing the bat file the command screen pops up saying press any key to continue, so I press a key then then the command box closes! I am running win7 ultimate 8core 64bit 8gig ram so chose the 64bit miner edited the bat file to:
jhProtominer.exe -o ypool.net -u sausagebollox.PTS_1 -p x -t4 -m512
pause
I have tried removing the pause but then the bat doesnt even start! I also tried -t7 as I belived the -t was for the amount of threads but it just says its not a command can some one tell me where I am going wrong please, cheers

Hi Im looking to start mining and cant find any beginners guides I was thinking maybe I should try solo mining but Im not sure its viable or whether I should just stick to pools dont know if it makes much difference but I have a AMD fx 8120 8core! but a link to both miners would be nice sorry to be a pain in the arse
