I believe it is down.  The way I confirm is to go here:  http://beta.beeeeer.org/index.php?p=stats&s=pts

and look at the bottom graph.  Shares/min is at 0.

BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] ypool.net - Fast PTS pool
« on: February 21, 2014, 10:37:54 pm »
I decided to move back to beeeeer from ypool yesterday, and following Luigi's (a mod) advice, set my auto payout to 0 to let all unconfirmed shares roll over without getting a payout at 1.000 and thus leaving fractional stranded PTS.  This morning all my shares had accumulated so I set the payout back to 1.  No payout after 4 hours or so.  Is there something I am missing on the site to request a payout, other than the auto setting?

Update:  the problem seems to have been that setting the auto payout back to 1 didn't "take", probably due to the website issues.  I was just able to get back into the site again, saw auto payout not set, set it to 1, and got the payout a couple minutes later.

I am seeing a 7.55% reject rate.  I don't have a record from before, but don't think it was that high.  Running a 270x/clpts.

I appreciate the open-source miner, girino!

I needed to do the following, in addition to the instructions, to get a successful compile and run on Ubuntu 12.04:

1.  export BOOST_LIB_PATH=/usr/local/lib/boost
2.  export BOOST_INCLUDE_PATH=/usr/include/boost
3.  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/boost
4.  make osfinder.sh executable

Note, boost install locations can differ, adjust accordingly.

Also, it is not necessary to logout/login or reboot as per the AMD SDK instructions.  Just source /etc/profile.

And, does your code honor the "-m" memory buffer size options?  I suspect not, because it errors out regardless of specified memory size when I am already running the clpts miner.  My hope was that, on my 2GB R9 270x, I could run both, just as how one can run multiple clpts threads on higher-memory GPUs.

Hello everyone...this thread is near and dear to my heart and so has motivated my first post.  I just signed up yesterday, am happily mining PTS, and am very intrigued by the whole bitShares paradigm.  Thank you, Dan, Stan and everyone for creating this.

I have invented a radically different CPU microarchitecture.  While I am sure it would gather its fair share of skeptics and naysayers, a quite possibly larger group of those "skilled in the art" might agree that it is how future CPUs should be built.  So, it makes me nervous that my ability to profit would depend on being able to buy in cheap.  I have already "bought in" via many hours of my time and a fair amount of $, too.  By the way, I came up with this during a period of unemployment, so it is free of corporate entanglements.

Though I share in a dislike of today's statist IP system, it is what it is, and I have already applied for the patent.  How would this affect participating in a new scheme, and how in general would a transition be managed?

I like MaxPWR's ideas as  a concrete example of what could be done.

I would seriously consider using my invention as a test case for a new system...convince me!
