Stakeholder Proposals / Re: [Worker] Integration of BTS with Wirex
« on: August 16, 2019, 07:07:47 am »
Update on Wirex:

Quote
As of today, we have a good working relationship with Wirex. After our
initial application it took longer than expected on their side to
formally process, as they where themselves fully occupied with their
intended large expansion in South East Asia (see https://wirexapp.com).

The application was judged positive and resulted in a massive document
for the official on-boarding. This involves; legal proof of all
connected entities and persons: Me, the Bitshares Blockchain Foundation,
Blockchain Projects BV, the contracts involved in between, tax filings
and legislative issues on all, situations and facts around websites
involved in BTS, their contracts with parties involved, responsible
roles, Ultimate Beneficiaries of them all, involved trading exchanges on
BTS and much, much more.

This is serious preparation work to get it all complete prior to sending
to the lawyers. We try to be as complete and effective as possible
before their UK and German lawyers go over all the information.

Please bear in mind this is not a listing on an exchange. It is a debit
card. This involves high regulatory demand all over the world. Which I
personally not only understand, but am very much in favour of. It adds
to the BTS reputation to handle and get through such a procedure, even
though it is a decentralized situation in nature.

The availability of Wirex in Africa and the soon to be available Sout
East Asian region opens up many business opportunities for BTS, BitCNY
and new businesses ontop of the BitShares Blockchain in a natural
organic way. Furthermore, personally, I am looking forward to entering
into the mail blasts Wirex does to its customers on weekly basis. That
outreach alone is marketing for BTS we otherwise never would be able to
afford.

In short, even during the holidays, we are at it. But this not a small
“thingy “ to be dealt with in an email or two or a simple doc we can
sign and be done with. It is heavy due diligence, not alone on us, but
all we are involved with. We are confident we will complete it all. It
is just work to be handled.

Hope this clarifies the duration of the process!

Best Regards, Annemieke

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Proxy: bitcrab - make the ecosystem grow
« on: August 14, 2019, 12:23:43 pm »
@xeroc
Our reserve pool is limited, inflation needs to be around 0%.
We had that between 2015 and 2017, look where it brought us ..
Look what changed after voters started spending money for good.

I don't necessarily say we should through out money easily, but a 3% inflation rate is really really low compared to other cryptocurrencies which even raised millions through an ICO.
If you can find devs that work for free, great, bring them on!

BEOS / Re: Update on jurisdictional agility code progress
« on: August 14, 2019, 10:05:31 am »
Is there a judgement that establishes the principle that a transaction is bound to the jurisdiction where it is *first* included in a block?
I always wondered about that argument - also, in an actual case, I supposed the witness will have to provide evidence that the machine that produced a block was in deed located
in that particular country, right?

Last but not least, I also think that the block producers should be able to whitelist/blacklist contracts that they want to (are allowed) to execute. Just imagine a block producer supporting
the sale of securities or a smart contract for assassination, drugs, or other weird stuff. If I was running a block producer on a jurisdictional agile blockchain, I would expect to have means
to protect my block producer against liabilities that come from a smart contract, right? Are there any plans to add that feature?

it's time to control the inflation of BTS.
Do you guys actually know the inflation (percentage wise) of BitShares?
anything hard to understand?

Na. I just meant if you guys know that the inflation is less than 3% even with all the worker being voted in:

1. Createing bitAssets with a margin position takes some risk
2. You can decrease the reserve pool spending by voting for the refund workers
3. We should introduce a margin call fee (0.1-0.2%) to increase income
4. We should also increase the costs for make/take an order to increase income
5. The committee could raise the network cut from fees from 20% to ... erm .. 80%

BEOS / Re: [WTS] 100,000 BOES @ 0.25$
« on: July 10, 2019, 03:13:09 pm »
How the valuation derived? 0.25$/BEOS
There is no price reference for BEOS yet. That's why I picked 'my' price. The purpose of this thread is to provide a currently unique offer and help establish a price.

Those that have been part of the forums from day one, remember that rhis is how price was discovered when there were no exchanges :)

BEOS / [WTS] 100,000 BOES @ 0.25$
« on: July 10, 2019, 02:41:41 pm »
Now that BEOS tokens are (supposedly) liquid, I am looking to sell 100k BEOS for
  • 0.25$/BEOS
each. Selling in chunks of 10k BEOS.
Price will decrease over time.

Accepted currencies:
* BTS
* BTC
* EOS
* STEEM
* bitUSD
* bitCNY

Open to proposals for escrow.
