General Discussion / Re: bitUSD Mining is now live!
« on: April 09, 2015, 09:02:37 pm »
There was some downtime yesterday. The pool is in the process of being upgraded and moved to a new place so there will be some hiccups over the next week.

There could be a mining pool UIA that people could invest in. The funds could be used to rent Hashing power in our pool.

I just want to add my 2 cents, for the benefit of anybody ever reading this thread.... Now or 3 years from now.

This tour is one of the most idiotic things, I have  ever seen!

:)  Love ya Tonyk2!  We'll come visit you one day too if you want.  When bts is at >$.10 and everyone's mood is different.

It's been a great trip, and there's a lot being accomplished!

You should have that quote displayed somewhere in the film with Tony's name.

This is a marketing campaign that we can measure precisely. In of its self, it  doesn't need to be profitable to be successful.  But if grows the user base and drives liquidity for system as a whole it will be a net benefit to entire system.

This is a pretty big deal, and we should promote this to the crypto community.  "Mine real gold with your bitcoin mining hardware".

Steps:
1) Sign up with minebitshares pool.
2) Convert bitUSD you receive to bitGold.
3) Buy physical gold with your bitgold on cryptosmith.

Is there any chance that we can have users pick what payout they receive from minebitshares, so they could receive bitGold directly (cutting out step 2?).  This would make things easier.

Better yet, mine directly to BitGold and exchange for physical!

Its alright to have a decentralize source of raising funds through delegates, but in in order have accountability on spending there needs to be some kind of centralize body for oversight. If you have a thousand ppl with a thousands ideas of success then  there's nothing but confusion.

608
There should be away that when  the supply reaches a certain threshold,  the system can short new supply.

Muse/SoundDAC / Re: April update

Nice update, but in the meantime can you fix the PeerTrack website. Sending people to a have working site is not good sign of quality.

I think you should do BTC and bitassets but maybe work it in a way that bitassets get a higher return percentage wise than BTC

Instead of choosing one interface or the other, Can it just be a drop down that lets you choose between advanced and normal trade view?

General Discussion / Cloud Mining Services
« on: April 03, 2015, 07:16:07 am »

There are few cloud mining services starting to shut down because of BTC price. We should start seeing if it profitable enough for them mine or pool.

This site reviews fiat gateways into BTC. A good place to keep up gateways for Bitshares.

Excellent, Your not going any of the entrenched parties in the countries to adapt the platform anytime soon because they have too much to gain from the current system. But getting the smaller growing parties up to adapt this system will help speed up changing the system on a larger scale.

Maybe you can auction them off.
