Sounds good. There was a tribe that started a coin,  I think it was called mazacoin or maizecoin. They maybe open to it.

General Discussion / Nicehash mining issue
« on: April 01, 2015, 12:32:56 am »
Getting the below error when trying to connecting to Nicehash. Using the same u/p that I have always been using.

Establishing connection with pool usd.minebitshares.com:5557... OK
Sending mining.subscribe... OK
Sending mining.authorize... OK
Received mining.notify subscription... OK
Received mining.set_difficulty... OK
Received mining.notify work... OK
Received authorization result... Error: Failed to authorize. Wrong username or password.
Your pool is shown as incompatible therefore we encourage you to contact pool operator to make sure that the pool is using minimal/starting pool share difficulty which is compatible with our service (and thus compatible with today's miners), please send them link to our FAQ on this topic: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqb3. Thank you!

Muse/SoundDAC / PeerTracks website
« on: March 31, 2015, 05:17:26 pm »
The site layout is not that great. I've been to the site a few times with this current design and never noticed until today that there is more content on the side-scroll. If you start to scroll down like a normal site, you wouldn't know that other content exist!! I'm using Chrome on windows.

Its good for big artist, but I don't think it will be great for new/independent artist. Plus its just a flat subscription fee, no opportunity for the fans to invest directly into the artist.

These guys may want a stable crypto like ours to use. Also they may need to also launch a crowdfund. I think BitShares can help.

General Discussion / Deposit Insurance on Bitassets?
« on: March 28, 2015, 09:08:19 pm »

Thinking out loud...

Is it possible to offer some form of deposit insurance on bitassets in the future? Would it even bit necessary? If so, how would it be funded? Should it only apply to non-trading accounts?

They are on a cross country tour filming a Bitshares Documentary about bitshare users. Will let them know about the store error.

How about keeping it simple. You get a fee for the initial referral plus an amount equal to x% the yield generated by that user for the first year.

20 yrs is crazy. Maybe 1-2 year then a halving reward each year after.
