BitShares AGS / Re: Good day for PTS donators
« on: June 30, 2014, 12:57:33 pm »
you'd just about have to start considering it right now for the transaction to enter a block in time...
Good point

donating in PTS seems to be like gambling :)

It sure does... I'm all in on PTS / AGS now. Looking forward to the following months ahead..

Bitten by the Bank? ... Bitshares, your bits. your bytes.

Here's another useful one. None bitcoin specific. more general:

My concern with 'grooves', 'vibes', or 'notes' is that they'll be more difficult to market and understand for the end user.  It seems like it would be easier to explain what 'votes' or 'slices' are in relation to the asset than 'vibes'.  How much does it cost to play a song on the jukebox?  50 vibes?  Or 20 votes?

We should consider the context in which they'll be used.

I hear what you are saying. But wouldn't you agree the majority audience for the Music DAC (initially) are for the younger generation? To start with anyway. They are more familiar with the 'vibe or 'groove' term. 'Votes', (my daughter anyway) would assume 'oh that must be boring' ie associate with politics or something. I just feel the whole branding, which has to be nailed from day one - needs to be young and 'jazzy'. Forgive the cheese.

While ever prices are floating between 0.0075 and 0.0085. BUY! Big things on the way for bitshares. I see it as a wise investment.

A bandwidth blockchain dedicated to DAC shareholders would be a fantastic idea. How it would be implemented or financially beneficial to miners is another thing. But a good idea in theory.

I think Jim Morrison sums it all up perfectly  ;):

I too am buying more at these low prices.

PTS is dead, impossible to sell at decent price price. Exchange are almost empty.... NRS killed PTS ?

PTS is not a pump and dump coin. It's your token to more DAC's. Simples.

Guys, I'm definitely ploughing more into PTS. Ok yeh there might be the occasional dip (a buying opp). But as most have pointed out, the DACs are potentially the true value anyway. And there's only one place they are going. UP!

I think i might invest in some AGS too.

I like your reference to mcfly and the doc! A good analogy! Thanks guys for the pointers / re-assurance. To be honest, i would have been reluctant to keep selling, buying PTS anyway. Your replies mean something. I will just keep them - and build up my pot!

Looking forward to the future guys!
