Следую инструкциям http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/Delegate/How-To
Выдаёт следующую ошибку ошибку:

>> wallet_delegate_set_block_production mayday true

10 assert_exception: Assert Exception
delegate_record.is_delegate(): mayday is not a delegate.
    {"name":"mayday"}
    bitshares  wallet.cpp:1592 bts::wallet::wallet::set_delegate_block_production

    {}
    bitshares  common_api_client.cpp:5569 bts::rpc_stubs::common_api_client::wallet_delegate_set_block_production

    {"command":"wallet_delegate_set_block_production"}
    bitshares  cli.cpp:579 bts::cli::detail::cli_impl::execute_command

I just left it for 2 hours and the blockchain synced.  it just keep going in jumps saying it was stuck for 10 mins or so, then updated and then another half an hour for 'wallet transaction scanning.

I still can't send funds though.  In my personal account and delegate account, if I try to make a transaction and click "send" nothing happens.  Where I type in the amount there is "symbol not set", I can't click that either.

This is getting urgent as I have a freelancer to pay for her translation work and I need to access my funds right now.

I'm also getting unknown account errors at the top right by the bell.

Probably this is related to transaction scanning or blockchain synchronization. You can try to reload gui right clicking any element and selecting Reload.
Also could you post some of the error message if there are any in the top right part of the window and the flag icon?

In the long term we definitely need to break up each part. In the beginning we should focus all our efforts on a single selling point, the excellent decentralized exchange.

100% agree, if we can take over "decentralize exchange" niche it would be much easier to expand to other markets.

Will vote for you!
BTW now you can use the following query parameters when you drive traffic to the download page (or to any page on bitshares.org) - those parameters will be associated with account registrations:
r= pass your BitSharess account name within this parameter
channel= (string)
campaign= (string)
adgroupid= (int)
adid= (int)
keywordid= (int)
E.g.

wuyanren, could you explain what happens? Is the drop down list too long and doesn't fit on the screen or it too slow?

Thank you to all of you who voted, but this seems to be not enough - currently my delegate is at position #141 with 1.4% votes.
My financial situation seems to be worsening - several days ago I've received the last pay check from I3, I've payed ~$1000 for delegate registration, so it's going to take two weeks to break even. Also $2,000 delegate payroll at current BTS price is much lower than my monthly expenses, so eventually I need to eat up from BTS stake - this is the last thing I want to do being bullish on BTS, having at least one delegate would decrease the rate I spend my stake, so I hope to survive until the time delegate salary catches up my expenses rate.
Please help me to promote this post in other languages/communities.

My name is Valentine (also known as valzav on this forum) and I’m working on BitShares Client full time since June 2014.

A little bit about me:
I’m full stack developer, very passionate about user interfaces and UX. My past experience includes 15 years of professional software developer career with expertise in financial software; internet marketing software; C++, C#, Ruby, JavaScript programming languages; back end and web/front end development.

About my past achievements:
- Polished out GUI architecture, the development stack (QT container + Angular HTML5 + RPC toolkit communication layer) we are using now has proven itself to be very flexible and helps us move forward rapidly.
- Intensively worked on BitShares GUI, implemented a lot of features, fixed a lot of issues.
- Developed acceptance testing framework that is now actively used by several BitShares core developers to test the toolkit.
- Developed accounts registrations faucet website and added support to the GUI (it’s available in version 0.4.27.2 that we've released today).
- Proposed referral program idea https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=11356.0 and made proof of concept implementation.

Future plans:
- There is new GUI version under development, we expect it to be much more user friendly, lighter and easier to use for both novice and advanced users. It’s going to have modular architecture so it would be easier to extend it for independent developers. There are plans to support plugins/installable applications (find some of my thoughts on this topic there https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=11594.msg152852#msg152852). New GUI would support both light weight and regular toolkit backends. There would be some changes to the development stack: on QT side we are migrating from QTWebKit to QTWebEngine, on Web side we are going to stick to AngularJS but replace presentation layer with Zurb Foundation for Apps - this would allow us to simplify presentation layer, improve performance and allow nice animated transitions.
- The same acceptance testing framework I mentioned above that now is used for toolkit testing can be adopted for GUI testing as well, I’m planning to incorporate it into the new GUI.
- Another great development, in which I want to be involved, is various marketing and referral campaigns - I had a lot of conversation with nullstreet folks and also today I’ve talked to Adam, and looks like we all agree that referral programs can be essential for a big marketing push planned for Q1 2015.
- Hope I would have time or some one’s help to create a web site that collects BitShares markets data and statics and represents it via nice looking charts, something like this http://www.ripplecharts.com/#/

Focus points:
- Perfect UX - simplicity; beautifully looking polished interfaces; better explanation of complex things; performance - UIs shouldn’t be laggish.
- Quality - more focus on testing; better architecture - I hope to make a lot of things more simple and straightforward in the new GUI.

I want to thank all BitShares community for being so enthusiastic and passionate at all times - this really makes my work much more meaningful and enjoyable. I want to thank whoever contributes with their skills and ideas - coders, marketers, translators, forum participants - you really make things happen, I think the most valuable BitShares asset is BitShare community. A special thanks to TestZ for running my delegate.

Please vote for valzav.payroll.testz . Hope to gain your support. Have a great holidays.

I lose all translation record after I update client V0.4.27.1

The error above doesn't affect any transactions display. blockchain_get_block_signee is being called when you click on Block Explorer in the left menu, there is wrong parameter to this call, but as I said it doesn't any data display.

Which command are you using when you get the error?

It automatically shows up in GUI.

What steps does it take to replicate this in the GUI?

Attempts to update votes result in CPU peg and non responsiveness of thumb buttons.

Can't replicate this. Is this the thumb button on a delegate's profile or in the delegates list?

Account-Key menu in GUI cannot work.

To get the key in GUI, users have to use wallet_list_my_account in console.

clayop, could you describe your issue a little bit more? Do you mean Keys tab on the account page won't? Maybe you could post a screenshot?
