Still not working for me, sorry.

Thanks guys for the answers  :)

It was most likely due to the unscheduled down time we had today. Perhaps I should add a page on the site that displays the status of the bot.

But it also didn't work on multiple days last week.
Well, I'll try again today and report back.

My personality type is INTJ

INFJ here ... so I'm a 1%'r:P

me too. http://www.16personalities.com/profiles/5655074c21f08

now to figure out how to use that information to my benefit...

So I'm not alone, great   :)

Honestly I'm not surprised to find a high density of INTJs, INFJs etc. on this forum.

Just curious, would it be possible to build payout systems (e.g. for miningpools) using sharebits? Is there a way to send tips via API calls? Could eventually be a simple way to implement manual withdrawals without having to track anything yourself.

For me it's not clear how that lifetime thing would work. Are we selling a monopoly for a certain feature or is some competition possible? What if shareholders later want to abandon that particular code in favour of a different implementation? It just feels to me like this could cause a lot of political trouble. But maybe I'm wrong.

Nice idea. Simple and focused on one goal.

Add me to the list of supporters   :)

I honestly don't think that traders should be our primary target audience at this point in time. The advantages we can offer are just too unimportant (in most traders eyes) compared to the worse usability and tx-fee problems.

What is BitShares really good at, that no one else can offer?
IMO UIAs in combination with smartcoins. This can be huge for crowdfunding. It has never been easier to issue your own token which you have full control over.

Just reading this thread makes me sad. Sorry to all you guys who lost BTS.  :(

But don't forget the bigger picture. BitShares' potential isn't lost. All the great ideas are still here and we are closer then ever to seeing them realized. A lot of mistakes have been made in the history of BitShares but the biggest one would be to stop trying.

I really don't understand why so many people are upset about this. If you don't trust shareholders to responsibly spend or burn funds what reason do you have to buy into this selfgoverning chain anyways? Even without reserve fund there would be enough opportunities for stakeholders to f*** up.
