Whos newmine and what was his plan?

Was it spreading the MMC for that position to everyone?

If so I would rather vote for someone that is doing something productive for MMC.

I personally wouldn't trust him giving the MMC to anyone probably take it for himself.

Voting against him.

I run a cluster of around 3500 top notch servers from multiple providers and have around 100,000 usd worth credits ready to mine - I quit mining a while back to reduce the intensity on the system - would someone here be gracious enough to give me some pts? :P I could REALLY use some extra christmas money :)

How do you have so much servers? Bots?
Hey umm if you want let me mine in your place. :)

Either a botnet or he's a network administrator and I think will get in trouble if he mines on those servers.

the 100$ amazon credit no longer exists, it redirects you to amazon aws main page now.

« on: January 03, 2014, 09:38:50 am »

The price goes down, because miners want sell their MMC as quickly as possible.  >:(

As a person who was cpu mining MMC until the gpu miner was released, I completely agree.  It's depressing watching the price & profitability plummet for no good reason other than people undercutting prices for a quick sale.

In the long term, those morons are cutting everyone's, including their own golden goose's neck, and destabilizing the currency in the process with their short sightedness.

The funny thing is, you can see the same with the majority of alt cryptos ever since the news stories broke in the media.  The general public saw nothing but a get rich quick scheme in their mind, and have no idea of the market consequences, & don't care about ruining the value or destroying the public confidence in the currency with their grab for the instant payoff...  >:(

It doesn't help that the 1gh pool is suggesting to use a bter.com wallet address for deposits. That just enables dumping the coin. The other part that is hurting this coin is the fact that it's sitting on one exchange at the moment. The good thing is that this coin isn't a copy paste. It's not associated with a meme and its not being pumped and dumped. This will be a long term coin. That being said it does need to gain traction in the crypto world. Good thing is there will be a CEO that will be responsible for that.

Let those idiots deposit their earnings straight into bter, they are not going to get anything. Withdrawals are not working for awhile. An exchange site that big that still has not solved the "Problem" which I highly doubt its a real problem is probably cashing out everyone's coins.

Let them dump, people seem to be happy to buy their coins, in return they are getting nothing in return. Lets see how long they can last spending money on mining without any returns to pay off their server/power...etc expenses.

How many votes do we need to be added on cryptsy?

Just noticed the top miner has 5000 HPM!

Either he has some big rigs or quite a botnet.

Is this a mandatory update? I'm still using the 0.8.55 version its working great.

Is this just for people looking to mine from straight from their wallet?

Thanks.

It can but there isn't a huge performance boost.

Is the miner used for your pool the same cpu-pooler miner? Or is it modified?

If its modified to mine MMC could someone please post a tutorial on how to set this up on Ubuntu please.

Kind of a real noob when it comes to linux.

Thanks.

I'm using the same client I downloaded for mmcpool.

cool, I guess that saves time trying to figure it out.

Thanks.

Most people go to the pool that mines blocks the fastest so they get paid faster.

Thats what I noticed. the GPU mining feature should help bring in more miners for 1gh.com pool.

Well when rig miners hear about this were going to see a huge inflow of MMC into the market. Supply is going to be overflowing the market and MMC if were lucky will still be worth more than a cent.

We basically are not on an exchange at the moment. Its not really an exchange when you can only deposit funds.

So I just tried processing a small withdrawal and it seems to have worked fine. Maybe only a problem with some accounts. You could try setting up a fresh account, that might help.

Possible only big withdrawals?

Anyways I just noticed cryptsy added a few alt coins....disappointed to see MMC was not added, even more pissed off seeing fire shit fly coin added. Really with all that is going on with MMC they didn't add it yet.

I am beginning to suspect cryptsy is adding mostly shit coins, doing their own pump and dumps.

smokim did you find amazon servers profitable at all. I find they are very pricey at $0.75/hr+

I was using the 32 core servers the cc2 ones not the c3 servers.

So its alittle cheaper especially when using Ubuntu HVM AMI i got it at around 0.27 at first then it went up to 0.35 then finally steady for weeks at 0.45.

Well I did find it profitable I think I spent around 300$ and made almost 900 MMC. But I wasn't doing this for a short term profit. I usually hold on to my coins for a while.

It worked well before, PTS I mined on amazon but dirt cheap around 10 cents/hour for a 32 core server I had 60 of them running for half a day. I spent 115$ but used a 100$ free credit so a total cost of 15$

I made 100 PTS. At the time they were worth around 3$ I held onto to them and cashed out at 25$. Took some and invested into MMC and some to my pocket and the rest I invested into WDC.

If your looking for short term profits then amazon ec2 might not be profitable unless a coin is worth more than a few cents. If your looking for a long term investment than amazon ec2 are worth it.

A 32 core server (cc2) gets you 10HPM.
