Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I'm mining on amazon servers using Ubuntu as the OS. I created an image that has everything set for mining all I need to do is launch an instance (server), SSH into that server and type in:

./memoryminer -poolip=mmc.xpool.xram.co -poolport=1339 -pooluser=.......................etc

Is there anyway to make the miner start automatically without having to SSH into each server?

I was thinking of adding that command in the "Advanced details" at the bottom of the page where you set your max spot price and other options.

Would that work?

Thanks.

Code: [Select]
sudo crontab -e

then add

Code: [Select]
@reboot /path/to/memoryminer -poolip=mmc.xpool.xram.co -poolport=1339 -pooluser=<your MMC wallet address> -genproclimit=<number of cpus>
Press F2 to save and every time the machine boots the command will be ran.

Thanks!

Here's 1 MMC for your help :)

Yup, When the first pools started to show up its being taken serious now seeing that more people can mine with low hpm.

I'm waiting on an transfer from cryptsy so I can buy some. 0.001 is such a steal. I think by end of Jan will be 0.02

Isn't bter having withdrawal problems?

I think we could exchange using google docs while using bter rates when defining how much 1 MMC is worth.

killerbyte, any news on system:111 issue!? Can you pls give a short feedback about, cause its to expensive for me if all instances not able to connect.
Thx for your reply

He went to sleep. That system:111 issue means the pool is frozen he has to restart the server manually but I think tomorrow he's going to fix the pool so it runs smoothly.

Try mining solo for now or another coin until he fixes the issue your going to be mining nothing for hours if you stay on his pool.

Pool is  not working even if the site loads, its frozen. KB has to restart it again but I think he's sleeping now.

I think just stick to solo mining for now until KB wakes up and fixes everything so the pool runs smoothly.

You'll notice the site loads but no stats are displayed nor blocks found.

time to time I see a "force reconnect if possible!"  ... is it asking me to kill it and reconnect or is it telling me that it reconnected?

I think it reconnects automatically, i got something like that but it just reconnected and started mining again.

Looks like its doing great, we found 2 blocks pretty quick around 18 minutes between each.

Got 10 servers mining on this now we should be finding blocks faster now.
