I like the whole platform DAC-Fiat idea. I am in favor of such a project and in favor if such a project was to take place to fund part of it with Angel Shares and if the project completes initial founders to get benefits (as with Kehottee for example). That is the idea I believe in supporting the community's projects. I liked the nice surprise with Angel shares for Kehottee Founders but If such benefits are known in advance, even better. Budgets and estimations and some numbers would be nice...For example estmated total project cost, estimated funds needed, estimated benefits (shares from the platforms profits for example would be nice) for those who contribute if the project succeeds etc..

I would suggest to follow the model of Bitstamp or BTC-E and pursue licenses from cryptocurrency friendly countries rather than in the US. Slovenia, Bulgaria are friendly but risky. UK, Germany I think might be good options since are friendly as well and less risky. I would also suggest Cyprus. The Bitcoin was known to the masses after Cyprus banks deposits were confiscated. The University accepts Bitcoins as payment now, they are a taxheaven country so you may find very good support over there for obtaining licenses and operate.

I agree a lot with Bitcoinfan. Let Bitcoin give the fights obtaining regulation from the US and the rest of the world. Once this is achieved everything will be easier for the other cryptocurrencies as well. Ofcourse beeing proactive is always good! I also liked the idea of a partnership with Ripple. I don't like how it operates, it is quite complicated for a user like me but I don't see any harm in such a partneship. In the end of the day the user will have the option to exchange PTS-BTC-Fiat and PTS-XRP-Fiat. Although I think there is already a PTS gateaway within Ripple. Again I am not very familiar with Ripple. I just like the idea of partnerhips.

What about Cryptsy? They have announced on their site for quite some time that soon USD market will be available. How will they do that? They are in they US, they are FINCEN registered. If they do it I3 should be able to create a DAC-fiat platforma well. Maybe I am mistaken but I don't think Chryptsy is a very big company with many funds...

Can someone please send me an email to check if i am set up correctly? I have sent an email 2 days ago to bytemaster but didn't get a reply (i assume he is very busy so no worries..) and the status is showing on kehotee as unregister and I am not sure if I have done things correctly.

a couple of other questions:

1. Should I fill in the form from the site for registering the key to the genesis block or should I wait until all bugs are fixed and wait for a later version? I want to make sure that by registering now this public key to the invictus form it is safe to do so under this version. I am a Founder. I don't know if that makes any difference..

2. Will I be able to change my Kehottee password? I don't see an option.

Keyhotee / Re: How will founder IDs be distributed?

Great staff... I didn't think I could do it and I very happy that I managed to obtain some MMCs with your guidance... Looking forward to Kehotee, bitshares and everything else... I feel very happy that from all the altcoins out there I found about PTS from the beggining...Although unfortunately I did not manage to get many cheap PTS in the beggining...

Final question..Does it matter if i transer all my funds to one adress? Is this safe? Will this affect my original bid for a Kehottee ID? Does this matter in any way?

I will send out some tips for all the help so far...

Everything is very clear now to me. I will try to claim my MMCs later tonight and see what happens. Thank you very much.

Last questions.
1.When I tip someone how would he know that it is coming from me.
2. Qt wallets have something that says sign message. What is this? how do i sign a message? what is the purpose?

Merry Christmas to all and a happy PTS New Year! I really hope that PTS becomes popular like BTC since I have missed that train...

Guys thank youvery much!! Really appreciate your prompt feedbacks. This really helps a lot and I have a better idea about Kehotee now! I will send tips to both of you soon.

What confuses me are the following regarding Memory Coin:
1. My wallet qt has many adresses with different amounts. Do I need to dump the private keys for each one of the adresses and import all the private keys to MMC wallet?

2. Since I will import the private keys to MMC wallet, isn't this dangerous? I guess no one can see my private keys in MMC wallet unless the y get access to my wallets correct? I mean this information doesn't get sent anywhere in the internet and it is safe as long as I don't have any malware?

3. What is "600" after my wallet passphrase on the tutorial? Just curious...

4. Just to make sure I understand correctly the whole PTS. Once I import my PTS private key to MMC wallet I will still have the same amount of PTS in my PTS wallet and for each of 10PTS i will have 1 MMC in my MMC wallet. And then I can use again and again my PTS to claim new coins that honor PTS correct?

5. Finally, if I don't know the amount of each PTS adress that I hold, and I don't remeber if some PTS were purchased after 12-12-13, or some that I purchased later were sent to an adress that had already some PTS from before that date what happens? Do I just import the private key of that adress anyway and it doesn't matter since the system will know how many were purchased before that date?

Once I get these answers things will be much clearer than before!!! And I will then do all that and see what happens..

AGAIN THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Hi,

Unfortunately I am a newbie to cryptos and I am really having difficulties to follow your language...For example I don'tunderstand the whole statement "Yes I3 says founders will create their key pair with alpha version in the test network, then send pub key to I3 to dump into genesis block." Which genesis block? where can this be found? What keys? Are you reffering to the block that will be created in New year's eve? Do we need to do anything?

Can someone with simple words explain in detail the whole process for claiming the Kehotee ID? I was an early founder of Kehotee, (even if I believe I am one of the poorest person here in BTCs) only because I am a believer and I really like the whole concept of PTS and Kehotee and what Invictus want to achieve, but I still don't know what I have to do, when and how..and this makes me sad... :(

Same applies with Protoshares... As far as I understand so far, we can use our PTS to every new crypto that comes in the way and want to honor PTS. We have to import our wallet dat file to the new coin file? I am not sure I even know how to do this..When will bitshares come along? What is the time frame?

I understand that Memory Coin was the first coin to honor PTS. I check the forum almost everyday and I don't know how I missed that. And even when I read it I didn't know what to do and when...and as far as I understand that's gone now and I can't use my PTS to benefit from Memory Coin...

I was wondering if it would be possible from the developers to send us an email with instructions on how to do these things and when everytime something new is coming along.??

I understand that most of you know how these things work and might get frustrated by my comments and questions above. Maybe some might say " do your research and search the forum" and staff like that...But you need to consider that people with no IT knowledge and no special skills should be able to follow and understand. I am reading the forum all the time, I am spending a lot of time to understand how things move and what I will have to do but now I have read so many things that I am really confused...And if I miss again something like I 've missed Memory coin it will make me even more sad...

Please make things easier to follow!!! Don't use strange words all the time and explain the processes as you would do to a small child... For eg.
step 1...
step 2 ... etc
with links and everything that is necessary...

I appologise for my ignorance. Just need desperate help with simple instructions...

Thank you all very much in advance!

Thank you very much for your reply. Greatly appreciated!

However, I think I read somewhere that  in order to keep my kehotee ID I will be required to mine at least once per year. Is that correct or I have missunderstood something? If that's the case I need some kind of pc that can mine. I am currently using an old laptop which I think that if a turn on the mining I would just burn electricity...

Can someone please clarify this for me? Will I be required to mine to keep my Kehottee ID and can I do this with a laptop?

Can someone please let me know what kind of hardware i should buy to mine protoshares effectively? I am looking to spend around $700 -$800.
If someone could advise what kind of CPU, GPU, cool fan maybe and anything else I need to build a mining ring that would be great..
Many thanks in advance!

General Discussion / Re: Lucky Mining Request for Proposals
« on: November 26, 2013, 09:49:26 pm »
Just some thoughts...

I think that the idea of lucky mining in order to decentralise mining is a very good one and will atract a lot of people.

However, the real problem for decentralising mining lies in making more simple the mining procedure for people with limited IT knowledge.
Personally, I want to mine but it is impossible for me to understand how to do this. It requieres a lot of time, which I unfortunatelly don't have, to go around forums and ask for instructions and explanation how to do things. It is very difficult for simple people to understand how to create conf files, what they do, what are the nodes that you mention, where and how to put the different commands and all that...

If you really want to decentralise mining, you will need to come up with a solution and with proper analytical instructions that one can easily read and understand when they download their qt wallet. It should be as simple as with a click of a button. The user should be able with one click to choose between the different mining options available...

If you guys manage to make simple the process of mining I can assure you that a lot more people around the world will mine with their pcs whenever they open them... Personally i have been thinking for the last 6 months to buy a new pc and some GPUs in order to mine cryptos but I haven't done so far since I wouldn't know how to use it.. Try to make mining easy for everyone and and then you will be able to decentralise mining for real...And then cryptocurrencies will trully rule the world and people will forget to use fiat currencies..

Actually it is not kidding...

And I accept your offer...

Unfortunately I don't have 40 PTS, but I can sell you 15 PTS for 22.5 LTC. You send me first otherwise we use escrow and you pay the fees..
